Running in a formal suit at 7:20 in the morning at an office filled with black-coated workers wasn't really my plan when I decided to go clubbing yesterday. Yet again, Jimin managed to convince me to go with him, but I should've said no. I barely got any sleep and didn't set my alarm, so now I'm twenty minutes late, running to my boss's office, praying that he doesn't fire me. Well, I guess it could be worse; 20 minutes it's not so bad. Wish my boss could see it that way.
As soon as I make it to his office, I leave my things at my desk that's right outside his office and fix my appearance a little because of all the running before knocking softly on his door. After a firm 'come in', I open the door and see my boss with a very frustrated expression while looking at his computer. He doesn't even turn to look at me, so I'm guessing he's either busy or mad or both.
- Good morning, Mr. Y/LN.- I bow, still hoping that he's not too mad at me. That's when he turns to look at me.
- Ah, Taehyung. Finally something good in this damned morning.-
- Excuse me?- I ask, confused, but a smile threatens to appear in my face.
- The entire morning has been a complete chaos. The Japanese canceled today's meeting unexpectedly and I still don't know why. The suppliers are not able to see the purchasing orders that we issue them, for some unknown reason. Almost everybody at the office is sick today and they expect me to believe it is a coincidence. And YaeJoon won't stop calling me because he wants to have a date for lunch.- I look at him sympathetically, waiting for him to give me instructions on what to do. Seems like he's having a hell of a morning.
- What can I do for you, sir?- He lets out a sigh and I don't even have to give him time to think; he already has a plan.
- Call Sana, maybe she has an idea of why the Japanese canceled the meeting. Set me up a meeting as soon as possible with the IT team to figure out what the hell is going on with the purchasing orders. Call YaeJoon, cancel the damn lunch, and bring your things; I'm going to need you in my office the entire day. Oh, also set up a meeting with the managers to see what's going on with their teams' absence.- I nod and bow before making my way out of his office, mentally reviewing everything that he told me to do. I need to write it down before I forget.
