- Aw, my baby!- Taehyung's mom greets him by giving him a bone crushing hug.- How have you been? I missed you.-
- Hi mom. Hi dad. Missed you too.- He then hugs his dad and lets the both of them in.
- Is this handsome man your boyfriend? Really?- His mom asks with excitement all over her face. I extend my hand politely, but she just pulls me in for a hug, surprising me a bit in the process.
- I'm Y/N, nice to meet you.-
- Woah, you must work out a lot.- She must feel my muscles during the hug because they aren't too visible through the sweater. So she separates from my hug to touch my biceps, making Taehyung widen his eyes and run to us, causing me to chuckle.- Look at those muscles. Whoa.-
- Mom, stop touching him. Come on.- He grabs his mom's arms and guides her towards the table. I have to hold in a loud laugh at Taehyung's reaction.
I shake hands with his dad and introduce myself, before heading to the kitchen to finish preparing the food. Tae guides his parents to sit on the table to then help me finish the food. I start to stir-fry everything while Taehyung grabs the plates where we are going to place the food. Once he's done with that he stands next to me trying to think of another thing to help out with.
- What else can I do my love?-
- Nothing. It's okay, Jagi.- I decide to tease him a little bit.- You can stay five hours looking for a song on your phone.- He laughs at the memory of when he didn't want to help me because he was lazy.
- That was one time!- He basically whines at me, so I pull him closer by his hand and deposit a sweet kiss on his forehead before giving him a sweet smile.- You're not mad?- His eyes look like a puppy, making me die from too much cuteness.
- No baby.- The new nickname clearly catches him off guard, but then he just smiles.- Go catch up with your parents. I'll serve the food.-
He does as I say and sits down on the table to start asking how they are doing and all of that stuff. Once the food is ready, I serve it on the plates and place the wok on the table with a big wooden spoon, in case somebody wants some more. I sit next to Taehyung, in front of his parents and we soon start eating the Japchae that, not to brag but, it's delicious. A relatively awkward silence settles in as everyone is too busy eating, until Taehyung rests a hand on top of my arm.
