I am currently trying to focus on the department's monthly meeting, but I find it extremely challenging as a certain individual is teasing the hell out of me. Maybe I should be a little bit used to it by now, since it's not the first time this happens, however this man is the complete opposite of expected. Besides, his effect on me is such that he could get me on my knees with just one look.
It's not exactly against the company's policies to date a work colleague, but let's just say that our boss wouldn't exactly be happy if he found out. This wasn't really planned; it just happened, but we can't undo it. It has only been a couple of weeks since my relationship with Jimin gave a U-turn, which is why we decided to keep all this a secret in the first place. We don't know where this is going, so we're just enjoying the ride for now.
It all started when our boss invited all of our department out for drinks to celebrate the success of our latest campaign. It was not unusual to receive that kind of invitation, since our boss just loves to have excuses to go out and drink. And normally in these types of gatherings, Jimin would make a great job controlling his alcohol intake because he's a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. However, this particular day was a completely different story. For some reason he left his self control at home and just uninhibited himself.
On his defense, the weeks prior to that day were extremely stressful for everybody in the company, but especially for our department, since they fired somebody and another employee was on maternity leave, so the amount of responsibilities we had to carry basically doubled from one day to another. Since the termination of the campaign meant less work load, then I'm guessing he just wanted to enjoy himself to the fullest and celebrate the big weight that was suddenly lifted off his shoulders.
He got so drunk that I had to walk him home because I wanted to make sure he got home safely. He only drank like three glasses of champagne, but it's incredible what that small amount of liquid can do to a person. We both live in the same neighborhood, so I only thought it would be a good idea to accompany him home. Turns out it was the best fucking idea I've ever had in my entire life; now let me explain why.
