It's my day off, so absolutely nothing is stopping me from spending it in my apartment doing absolutely nothing productive. After a long week of work, I think I deserve it. I'm comfortably sitting down on the couch watching movies, since I have nothing better to do and I don't want to do anything else anyway. After this brutal week all I want to do is rest, honestly. I take a sip of my glass full of wine and sigh delighted at the peacefulness; this is the best way to spend my days off. Suddenly a knock on my door interrupts all of my super important activities, so I pause the movie and head to open the door, only to see my neighbor, Taehyung, enter without even waiting for an invitation. And now the peacefulness is gone.
- Oh hi neighbor, it's nice to see you. Would you like to come in?- I say sarcastically, but he pays no attention as he points at the glass of wine on top of the table and looks at me confused.
- Are you seriously drinking wine right now?-
- Yeah, why? You want some?-
- It's only 11 am.-
- So?- Now I look at him confused and he just chuckles while shaking his head.
- So I'm guessing you're not busy.-
- What makes you think that? I am extremely busy, I was right in the middle of my movie when you came to interrupt me.- He laughs a little.
We have known each other for a while now and he comes sometimes or I go to his apartment to hang out, but I wouldn't really say we're friends. Besides that sometimes I take care of his dog while he's away, we're just neighbors that happen to be a little close with each other. Although, for some reason we have gotten really comfortable around each other fairly quickly and I don't even remember when that started, but we don't really care much about boundaries anymore.
- What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be working?- I ask him, since I remember he told me his boss asked him to work today.
- No, my boss canceled on me. Turns out he didn't need my help after all. Actually, I'm here to ask you a favor.- He sits down on the couch, taking a sip of my much criticized glass of wine, making me chuckle.
