No Rest for the Wicked

As i dodge more weapons i look forward and yell to Minato to let him know the reinforcements are starting to arive . I look around the battle field and block several kunai that are thrown my directions roll to the side when a fire justu is thrown my way i meet another shinobi with my sword and slit his throat with ease her blood splatters all over my face i grimace. i gasp as a kunai lands in my left thigh i look up and glare at the Man who stabbed me he shivers slightly and precedes to fight me in in taijustu i take a fist to the nose and i block a foot to my left i back flip several steps back wards huffing slightly i wipe the blood running down my face and i glare and i whip through several hand signs so quickly it doesn't look like i made any and i holler " ICE DOME". i trapp more than 10 shinobi inside and i jump inside my and project myself into every mirror and i look at the fear in there eyes and while they holler "What the hell is this ?!" i smirk and reply " your last stand ." thats when i throw my kunia at them and all you hear is screaming and bodies falling. thats when i hear the big explosion and i jump out of my dome and see the bridge starting to fall i look around as the shinobi scream "The bridge!" i yell for Minato he flash's next to me looking rough and dirty like im sure i do. " Minato i need you to get behind me im finish this and what stragglers are left you can finish off. he looks at me questionably and i pierce my sword into the ground and go through the hands signs and yell "Black dragon Blizzard!" A black dragon rushes forward and tears throughs most of the shinobi leaving nothing but bloody havoc in its wake and i start to pant heavily once my justu dies there is nothing but a few hundred left i nod to Minato who scatters his kunai and he starts flashing all around the battle field leaving nothing but dead bodys droping. i stare in awe as i watch i pick my sword of a flick the blood off and Seath it. when i see Minato standing in the middle of the battle field breathing hard. thats when i see someone jump up and go to stab Minato in the back i run and jump infront of him and push him away as the Kunai pierces ipnto my my ribs i gasp and kick the Woman back pull out my own kunai and stab it into the womans juggler as i watch her choke on her own blood im breathing heavily i cant help but study her features long brown hair and lightest gray eyes ive ever seen and all i seen was fear and before i know i watch the life drain out of her eyes. as i watch this woman die infront of me. I feel a hand on my shoulder i look up and see a concerned looking blond. he offers my hand and i take it as i wince and look down at myself she caught me on the chest and the fall caused it ot be dragged from my ribs to my left hip bone . " Shit that was a close one " i laugh a little and pull out bandages as i begin to wrap my torso. He nods " You okay that looks nasty." i nod my head and smile slightly at him ,"Nothing i cant handle now lets get back to the meeting place before you team starts to worry." He nodds and we begin to talk back as we are walking we walk into the clearing and se two of them walk out of the bushes Rin and Kakashi i see that kakashi has his head wraped in bandages. Minato looks around and asks "Where's Obito?" i knew as soon as i looked a the two one didnt make it out and i look at the ground and back up as i see the rezaltion of it flash ocrrosed Minatos crystal blue eyes. He looks down and nods his head. I study the other two kids a crossed from as Rin brakes down and starts sobbing Minato goes over and hugs her comfortingly. i watch as Kakashi is looking down sorrowfully. I look down and clench my fist tightly i hate war i hate how people have to go through the pain of loss because of this before i can process it a flash of that womans face flashes in front of my eyes i flinch slightly and i hiss out in pain. Next thing i know there are eyes on me . I look back at them as i hold my side . "I'm very sorry for all of your loss ." i look down respectfully then i look back up ,"You guys should head back towards the village." Confusion flashes through their eyes. "Are you not coming back with us now that you are wounded?" Minato asks i hear Rina gasp slightly i shake my head. "No i must head back to the front lines that is where im needed besides Ens is probably having a heart attack that im not back yet anyways ." I smile softly Rin comes forward and offers to heal me and i look at her . "No thank you ,you need to keep you strength and and charka for your journey home." She trys to protest but i look up to see Kakashi black eye and i cant quiet understand the emotion that it is holding. Minato walks up to me and shakes my hand puts his hand on my shoulder. I look into his pool of cerulean slightly startled, he smiles sadly. "Thank you again Haven i didn't thank you for eailer. i nod , " Its what i do, hopefully i will see you guys when ever we all make it home ." They all nod i turn around and port to the top of the tree and wave goodbye and i start to slowly jump back to the frontlines. after over an hour of traveling i make it back to the front lines and i walk back into the tent i know Ens is in. I stumble in and sit down in a chair not minding the stares i was receiving from the other shinobi looking at me . Until i hear Ensui cough and laugh "You look like shit Ven." i finally look up and stare at the room full of ninjas and finally settle on the older Nara laughing at me i couldn't help but smirk . You wouldn't think me a child and smart mouthed one at that would be best friends with the adults ninja around here but i always seem to be more at ease and related to the older generation than my own. " Oh shut it Nara you should see the other people." He smirks " I have no doubt they look worse did the mission end in success ?" He then looks at me serious. i snort " If it wasn't would i be here?" i raise my eyebrow at the room that's when i hear Rinji another man who is standing across the the room speak up " No if it wasn't knowing you Youd be marching up there just to blow it up your self." i snort and then wince which does not go unnoticed by the two men. "What happened Ven i can get a medic." I look at the two when Ens nods his head and rest of the room disappears besides Ens and Rinji . i Look at Rinji "Hey Ji give me one of your cigarettes." HE shakes his head and hands me one i light it up and take a big long drag as my nara friend lectures me about smoking. i lift my shirt up as there arguing weather i should or shouldn't be smoking. I look down to see my bandage is completely soaked of blood and is starting to run down my torso and leg as i moved. "What happened Ji go get a medic in here." i see Ji run out and come back with a medic who gasps slightly and starts un wrapping my torso i flinch and get a little light head so i lead my head against one of the wooden poles keeping the tent up i hiss as he starts to heal my wound. I look back up and see both my friends looking at me concerned . silence is almost deafing in the room til the medic nin speaks up i look at the blue haired red eyed medic nin , "You should be fine now but i do recommend a couple days rest and you might have some nerve damage down here by your hip but besides that you should be fine." i nod my head and thank him once the medic leaves i look into the eyes of my friends and take a drag of my ciggrete and proceed to tell them what happened Ens is quiet the entire time but as normal Ji is loud and commenting about it all. Once im to the end of my story i post to the scar now on ym stomach and hip " That is how i received this i saved Minato." i lean my head back against the wooden post and close my eyes . " I hope you know im not resting till this god forsaken war is over you two ." Ji tried to protest but Ens nodded his head ." I honestly figured as much "
