It was a new week and I don't know why buh I feel like this week is going to be nice. I walked to the class and sat down at my normal space. I instinctively turned around to look for him where I see josh poking out his head for him to be seen...I just smiled at him and looked back at my book in disappointment....
I know you must be wondering why I was not excited to see josh buh let me tell you.... Josh was not the one I wanted to see and I'll tell you why.
*FLASHBACK*
STRANGER:You might not know me but I can swear on my life that you know me...we exchanged a lot of eye contacts.
My heartbeat doubled and I instantly felt butterflies in my stomach.....he wanted to be my friend too?.
ME: Oh really?...I'm not sure I still know you...cause I don't remember exchanging eye contacts with anyone.
Oh wait ..were you expecting me to just act normal and ask him how he is doing?.... No na.... As a naija babe, I gats form small.
JOSH: Ok let me send you a picture.
The picture he sent me made me hiss. This person was a dark person with dimple in his jaw. He is handsome ...buh his beauty is nothing besides that of my crush.
ME: Oh but I don't remember seeing this face at all ... anyways what's good?
JOSH: I am sorry to just barge into your dm....I wanted to talk to you in school today buh you were busy giving hugs so I decided to just text you when I get home.
ME: okay?
JOSH: So I've been stalking you for a while now.....not like in a perverted kind of way tho...buh I observed you're smart with the way you answer questions in class.....so I was wondering if you'd be interested in being my study partner...
ME: Lol..okay...buh I really don't think I'm smart enough to be someone's reading partner.
JOSH: Have you met yourself.....I just noticed your weak spot was physics and mine is chemistry so we could help each other.....I'm an engineering student so physics is not difficult for me.
ME: Okay that sounds like a very nice idea... blah blah blah blah blah......
*FAST FORWARD TO PRESENT*
It was break time and I went with marvellous and my new friends....Blessed, who behaves and talks like a girl ... Emmanuel, a smart engineering student, pearl, a beautiful yellow engineering student too,angel, an engineering student, Dera, a nonchalant life science student, Kelvin....also a nonchalant student but this one is exceptionally good in biology, favour one beautiful girl that dressed very nice....
Now, these people were a group of people that we sat at the same spot last week Monday and they decided to stick around....
After break and classes our chemistry teacher Mrs Eriamotor decided totake us an extra one hour class.
Now...this class is a class I really enjoyed and it's definitely not because of the teacher because I and Mrs Eriamotor were not on good terms... She always takes all our free periods to teach us ....break that was supposed to last for one hour, she allows us to use only 15 minutes and now she says she wants to take us in Sunday again by 8 on the morning!.
And she complains that I always have something to say.
Just then I heard someone call ‘sssssssss"... God forbid I turn around to answer that kind of call. Cause according to my law, no girl should ever reply if she is called that way.
