Seth

There is nothing like sleeping in on a Saturday. That's my resting day. No work outs, no school, just me and my California King size bed.

Just as that thought went through my mind I heard my front door slam open. I had locked my door, so whoever it was had a key. Which meant it was most likely Dad. Great.

I had just managed to put my pillow over my head when dad barged in singing like a Lunatic.

"Happy birthday to you! You look like a monkey and you smell like one too!"

"Go away dad! My one wish today is to sleep like the dead." I said groaning behind my pillow.

"I would if I could Son but Molly made you this chocolate cake and she said I'm not allowed to eat any till you blow out the candle." I peeked out from under my pillow as dad was speaking to see him holding a doubled layered chocolate cake that had a candle in the middle of it. It looked fucking delicious.

"Cake? Fine I'll get up. But I'm only doing this because of the cake and I get the first piece." I rolled off of my bed and walked over to dad and grabbed my cake out of his greedy hands. I walked out to my kitchen and placed it on the Island then I blew out the candle.

I heard a click and looked over to see Molly standing beside dad with a camera. She smiled at me and said, "Happy birthday Seth! I hope you like your cake. Your dad and I need to get going, we have a dinner date with my parents."

Dad threw his arm around Molly and said with a grimace, "Yep because I just love spending my Saturday with your crazy parents, Love."

"Oh hush now David. They aren't that bad." Molly said slapping dad's arm.

"Oh whatever, Molly your dad tried to run me over with his pickup when you first introduced me. Besides I didn't get any cake." Dad said pouting like a two year old.

"I'll make you your own cake later darling. We have to go, I already told mother we'd be there." Molly turned to look at me apologetically, "I'm sorry we have to leave so soon Seth."

Still smiling from watching them bicker I said, "Thanks guys this made my day. The cake looks amazing Molly. And don't worry about it I have to do my online course over bloodborne pathogens today anyway."

They both gave me a hug and then I was alone once again, but now I had cake. I cut myself a slice and was just about to take a bite when my phone buzzed.

Sam: Happy birthday Seth:)

My heart thumped when I read the message from Sam.

The day after I kissed her at Chloe's she had tried to avoid me once again. But I wasn't letting that happen, not after I got a taste of her.

I had slipped when I kissed her. I hadn't planned on her reaction when she had thought I was going to touch her. She had gone white and she'd been trembling yet she had made no move to stop me.

My hand was half way to her cheek when I had changed my mind. I had planned on just leaning in to whisper in her ear that it's okay I wouldn't touch her, but then I had got a whiff of her scent. She smelled of the sweetest peaches.

From then on my mind had went on auto pilot and next thing I knew my lips were on her skin, and to my surprise she didn't pull away. Her color immediately started to come back and she had let a out a sigh. That tempted me to kiss her perfect lips.

She still hadn't pulled away. Right then I knew I wasn't letting her go. I knew the kiss had set her on edge. I also knew I'd have to take it slow now. No more contact till she asked or made the first move.
