Chapter 14

P.O.V

Seth

I arrive home exhausted from a night at the shop. Everybody in the town must've decided that tonight would be a good time to go get their oil changed. All in all it was a hell of a stressful night.

Walking through my front door I noticed immediately that the living room was vacant of Alek. Which was unusual since all he's been doing at night lately has been sitting on the couch and watching Chloe's house out of the front room window like a creeper.

He was bound and determined to keep her safe. He'd even been sleeping on the couch instead of sleeping on the futon in my guest/ game room. Alek's car was in the drive so maybe he decided to actually sleep in his room tonite since he had to work in the morning.

Alek had gotten a job with a local construction company so he wouldn't go crazy sitting on his butt all day. From the way he'd been talking and acting I had a feeling that he would probably be in Iowa for awhile. He'd even talked about getting his own place. I suspected most of the reason for him not wanting to go back to Chicago had to do with my hyper neighbor. But also, I think the quiet environment was good for him.

Heading to the bathroom I stripped out of my grease covered work uniform and stepped into the shower.
After I finished I wrapped a towel around my waist and headed to the bedroom to go get dressed so I could check on Sam.

Making it into my room I was greeted with a surprise.

Little Firecracker was on my bed all curled up. She was fast asleep on top of the covers, snoring softly. She still had on the clothes that she had wore to school ealrier, looking slightly uncomfortable.

Walking over to my woman I smiled at how small she looked in my calfornia king bed. Kneeling beside the bed so I was face to face with my sleeping Firecracker; I kissed her freckled nose, "Babe. Wake up."

Sam started to wake. Her eyes opening slowly, revealing the bright blue that I loved. Her expression was one of surprise as she continued to gaze at me with her wide eyes; probably still half asleep, and forgetting where she was. She blinked a few times before coming fully awake.

"Seth? Oh good your back." She smiled up at me while rubbing the sleepy out of her eyes. She looked so innocent, unaware of how beautiful she looked laying in my bed. Her red curls spread out on the mattress, giving her a wild look.

The way she greeted me with a genuine smile, that let me know that she was happy to see me. Fuck. She was just so god damn irresistible. I gave into my instincts.

Crawling onto my bed I captured Sam's mouth. She let out a gasp of surprise before kissing me back with a eagerness that matched my own. I kissed her like I had done before, but this time I seemed to be lacking my self control.

Capturing her tounge between my teeth. I gently nibbled, as I pushed her back on the bed so she was beneath me. My mind was officially shut off as I moved from Sam's mouth to her neck, kissing and sucking on the soft skin making her moan.

Her moan drove me on further in my exploration. "Sam, Can I take off your shirt?" I whispered urgently into her ear. We had never gone this far before, but I didn't seem to have the ability to stop this time. So I was leaving the choice up to Firecracker.

"Please... Seth... I want more." Her husky words were all I needed. Lifting up her arms, I pulled her shirt over her head then tossed it across the room as I took in the sight of Sam. She had on a simple blue cotton bra, and it looked fucking amazing on her.

Letting out a growl of need I reached behind Firecracker, unsnaping the bra with one hand. With that deed done I pushed her on her back again, then went back to kissing her neck. I had my left hand underneath Firecrackers head, and while I reached up with my free hand to cup one of her breasts. God. I let out a groan of appreciation. Her breast was a perfect fit in my hand. Not too big or too little, the perfect size.
