(2 years later) Sam and Chloe's Graduation

P.O.V

Sam

"Samantha Carson." My heart rate picked up as my name was called to walk across the podium and collect my diploma.

I walked up there where the principal shook my hand and handed me the slip of paper that I had worked hard for all these years. As I was walking down the steps to go back to my seat my eyes connected with Seth's. He was sitting in the audience with his dad and step mom beside my Aunt and Chloe's family. He winked at me when our eyes connected causing me to blush and send him a quick smile.

I made it back to my seat beside Chloe, who had already gotten her diploma. We sit there till everyone collected there certificates then the valedictorian and guest speaker gave their speeches.

By the end when all the talking was done we got to spray silly string everywhere, before we all embraced eachother and said our goodbyes. It was a bitter sweet moment. Everyone would be going off to college, starting new lives.

I was staying right here. I'd probably attend the local college in Burlington it was only 20 minutes away. I wasn't going to leave my Aunt, and I wasn't going to leave Seth. Seth was my future. Where he was I wouldn't be to far behind.

After the ceremony was over Chloe and I met up with our family and friends outside in front of the school. I was immediately embraced by my Aunt who got pictures of me and Chloe. Then she made Seth take pictures with me. After we were done with photos everyone stood there and chatted for a bit. I took that time to study Seth. Which was one of my favorite hobbies.

He was wearing a black tuxedo that would look dressy on anybody else, but on him it looked casual and sexy. He had undone a couple of the buttons on his shirt, revealing the pyramid tattoo on his chest. It reminded me of what he wore for our first homecoming together.

I was trying not to drool as I gazed at the patch of skin, but then I noticed something. "Seth what tattoo is that?"

I could only see half of it because it was being covered by the suit, but I knew it was new. I had studied his chest quite alot since we've been dating and I'd never seen it before.

His face got a little red, and he reached up and tugged on his lip ring like he did when he was nervous. "I was going to show you later baby. After you said yes."

Huh? "Said yes to what Seth?"

Seth just gave me a smirk, then he bent down on one knee. I let out a gasp of surprise and disbelief. My eyes watering as I watched him reach into his tux and pull out a little black box. He opened it up and took out the most beautiful ring I had ever laid my eyes on. It was a blue heart shaped diamond that made my breath catch.

"Seth?" I asked my voice shaking.

"Samantha Carson you are my heart. I knew from the moment I first saw you that you'd be my future. That I would try my hardest to be the best man that I could be just so I could call you mine. I love you so much. And it is with this love that I want to ask you to become my wife? To become my Forever Firecracker?"

I was speechless. My man had completely stole my voice with that performance. All I was able to do was shake my head yes and run into his arms.

He was still kneeling so me jumping on him caused us to fall back onto the grass. He held me tight and I planted a big kiss on his lips while everyone around us cheered.

After we finally stood up he took out the ring and placed it on my finger. "I can't believe this Seth. I love you so much."

"Believe it Baby. You should've known anyways. I did warn you that you had two years. Oh and please tell me you want a small ceremony. I want to get married soon. Like really soon."
