Meridus barged through the door, rushing to the tapestry. A frown made it's okay onto his face as he gently ran his hand along the split he had made. Blair walked up beside him with a sigh. "Stitch it." She said. She understood what this whole spell was trying to get him and his mother to do. "Mend the bond that was broken by pride."

The young prince nodded his head in understanding. "We need needle in thread." He glanced at his mother who nodded her head. She began searching for the needle and thread, pushing a bowl of fruit off on a table to open the chest. But she suddenly growled and started sniffing at the apples.

"Mer. It's happening again." Blair shook his arm, motioning to his mother acting like a wild bear.

Meridus quickly ran over to his mother with a frown. "No. Not right now. Mom!!" He tried to bring her back but he wasn't sure how.

Blair watched the two with a small sigh, she wasn't sure how to help in this situation. The young girl quickly ran over to the chest and opened it, searching for the needle and thread. Meridus kept trying to get his mother to return to her normal self. "Found it!" Blair said as she held the thread and needle up. "We need to-" a sharp pain struck her in the chest, causing her to drop everything. "Ach!" She groaned as she clutched at her chest.

Meridus quickly ran over to her worriedly. "What's wrong?" He asked as he let her lean against him. He frowned as her face contorted in pain.

"I don't know." Blair gasped out. "B-But we need to break the spell." Regardless of what pain she felt, the Queen needed to return to normal before sunrise. She bent down and picked up the needle and thread before handing them to Meridus.

The young Prince didn't know what to do. His mother was acting like a wild bear and the girl he was falling for was in pain.

The pain finally subsided as Blair rubbed at her chest. "I-I'm fine now." She sighed soflty, glancing up at Meridus. She was thankful he was worried about her but right now, his mother needed their help. "We'll worry about it later." She said as she grabbed his hand. "We must-" she stopped as she heard the Kings laughter, causing her eyes to wide.

"Oh no." Meridus whispered as he pulled her closer to his chest. "We need to get the tapestry quickly." The pair ran over to the tapestry hanging on the wall, trying to pull it down.

But just as they were trying to get it down, the door to the room burst open. "Meridus!" Fergus yelled but was instantly met by a growling bear. The Queen was still not herself.

"Dad! It's not what you think." The Prince shouted but his father ignored him, pushing his son out of the way. Blair wasn't sure what to do in this situation but she kept trying to get the tapestry down. It was really heavy.

Fergus rushed to attack the bear and protect his children. Meridus tried to stop the older man, but he was too stubborn and refused to listen. Elinor raised her claws and went to strike, clawing Meridus on the forearm. Fergus growled and charged at the bear but she hits him, knocking the king out cold.

"No!" Meridus yelled as his father hit the ground. At her sons yelling, Elinor finally snapped out of the wild behavior. She glanced down at her husband before looking towards her son. Her eyes widened at the claw mark on his arm, trails of blood soaking his sleeve. "It's okay mom. I'm fine." He tried to reassure her but the Queen was too upset and shocked at what she had done. She quickly ran out of the room.

"Elinor!" Blair shouted but the Queen ignored their calls, continuing to run. She didn't care she attracted the lords. She just kept running as they chased her out of the castle.

A groan was heard as the teenagers turned to the king as he stood to his feet. "Are you two okay? The beast almost had ya." He said, making sure the children were safe.
