YOU GROANED AS you rolled over on your side, trying to block the sunlight from out of your face. The sheets scrunched around you, pulling over your body and cocooning you once more.
However, you had already had your sleep interrupted and your eyes were slowly opening, squinting at how light the room was.
You groaned as you sat up from your comfortable position on the bed, allowing yourself to semi-stretch and adjust to the brightness of the room. You yawned, opening your eyes wider and looking around the room.
You squinted, unaware of where you were at. Then, it all rushed into your mind. You snapped your head to the side, seeing that Maki was still underneath the covers, sleeping soundly as her body went up in down in a slow yet, rhythmic motion.
You smiled softly at her form, taking in the balance of colors the sun gave off from her skin flawless skin. Maki's jawline became more pronounced and defined as a peaceful look written on her face. Her pink lips were parted, letting soft sounds of breathing be the only thing you hear.
You felt a smile creep on your face when you saw her disheveled appearance. Her raven-black hair was scattered all across the pillows and a peaceful expression was etched on her face. One of her tattooed arms was under her head, allowing extra cushioning.
You looked over at her nightstand, looking at the time.
12:07 P.M...
You cursed yourself at the time but understood why you slept so late. You silently rested your body back on the bed, staring at the white ceiling and sighing in contentment, the peacefulness setting your mind at ease.
You heard a noise come from Maki and you turned your head to the side to see her shifting in her place. Maki's eyes slowly opened, revealing her golden eyes.
Maki groaned when she realized how bright it was. You threw the covers off your body, letting your feet hit the rug beneath you. The room's temperature gave you goosebumps and chills as you covered your breasts and made your way over to the window.
Making sure none of the neighbors saw your state, you walked up to the curtains and closed them, leaving a little bit of light peeking through the slit of the curtains.
You looked back at Maki, seeing as she was already steadying herself on her arm as her back was exposed to you, allowing you to see even more tattoos.
You walked over to the opposite side of hers, getting back into bed and feeling the mattress sink below you. Maki looked up at you, taking in your appearance.
You were sure you looked like a mess. Your h/c was a bit of a mess and you probably had mascara surrounding your eyes and giving you a tired look. You smiled, nonetheless, and inched closer to Maki, feeling the warmth of her body radiating off her.
