Felix's life in his old pack, his departure and his journey to Chan's pack.
Centered on Felix._______________
Felix felt nothing but pain.
Physical.
The ghost of the hands on his body. His shoulders, his back, his hips, his throat. Brutal, they had marked him like a hot iron. The bruises disappeared from his skin over time, but their presence remained impregnated in his flesh. Probably marking him until he died.
Mental.
The gaze of others.
The one of the acquaintances of his pack, who once greeted him joyfully at every passage. The one who became contemptuous. Sometimes filled with disgust. Sometimes with lust.
The one of his childhood friends, who looked at him with fun when they were racing or playing hide-and-seek. The one who has become sad and compassionate, for those who share his way. The one who has become only lust, for others.
Finally, the one of his loved ones. The parents who saw him grow up. His grandmother who telling him stories before bed. His sisters who meant everything to him.
Now, when he was allowed to go out and met his parents, they didn't even look at him. His father ignored him, not even pretending to consider him as his own son. It's all your fault. If only you had acted as an alpha from the moment of your birth, none of this would have happened. You are weak, and the moon has only followed this thought. You disgust me. Felix didn't say anything, accepting that it was just his fault.
His mother sometimes lifted up her eyes, full of tears, on him, before turning them away, knowing that she could do nothing. I'm so sorry, Felix. I wish I had prayed more to the moon, so you wouldn't have to go through this. He apologized in return. Telling her it wasn't her fault.
His older sister followed in their father's footsteps. I'm sorry, Felix. You know how the pack is... It's better if we just ignore each other from now on.He understood and let it happen.
The reaction of his younger sister had been the stab that had finished him. They were so close before his presentation. Now, when he saw her through his prison bars, he saw nothing but an empty shell that tried to behave like a future alpha. I'm so scared Felix. I don't want to go through this. I have to change in the moon's eyes before it's too late. He also understood. He didn't want anyone to present themselves as omega in this pack.
The only person whose eyes had never changed was his grandmother. Despite his presentation and what followed, she continued to visit him. Until last fall, when she finally left him to go to heaven. Now, when he looked at the sky, he only saw her.
She had been his last hope of happiness in this world of pain.
Now it was all loneliness.
Felix slowly opened his eyes, gradually becoming aware of his environment. The winter light filtered through the bedroom's window, which he shared with other omegas. The sound of movement outside and the echoes of discussion, coming from the center of their village, woke him up completely.
His pack lived in the mountains in northern, away from human cities. They were a strong and powerful pack, which had claimed this territory several centuries ago. They had built many houses there, until it almost looked like a small village. His prison for almost a year now.
Felix closed his eyes temporarily, feeling the humidity on his cheeks. He passed his hand over his face to wipe away the last trace of tears that his nightmares had left. For a moment, he thought of staying in bed all day and hiding in his blanket until nightfall. However, he quickly remembered that he was on duty at noon and that someone would soon come and pull him out of bed.
