Jisung and Jeongin's past

_________________

When Jisung was little, he thought he would live happily for ever with his father and mother, with his pack, in his little village. He was carefree, enjoying his young years playing with his friends, rather than trying to understand the adult world.

Obviously, he knew a little about presentations and the alpha-beta-omega dynamic. He knew that his father was an alpha and that he had chosen his mother, an omega, to have a happy family. At least that's what his mother told him.

His father worked a lot and didn't always come home at night, but Jisung knew his dad loved him and his mother. When he thought about it now, he realized that it might not really be the case after all.

His perfect little life had changed when he was about eight years old. His father came home with a little boy about his age in his arms and asked him to play with him while he finished some work. Jisung had complied, happy to have a new friend to play with. The two boys, although shy at first, quickly became friends and started playing together.

He really liked Jeongin, until his dad came home with his mom and another lady.

It was at this moment that his little life, of perfect appearance, had appeared rotten from inside.

His father, an alpha, had mated with another omega. His mother didn't even seem surprised when he introduced Jeongin's mother, also his second mate, to Jisung.

Jisung was confused in the first place. Why mate with another when he already had his mother. Why have another little boy when he already had him. His child mind couldn't understand.

"Jeongin is your little brother, so I hope you take care of him when he gets here."

Jisung's gaze turned to the other little boy, who also seemed not surprised by the whole conversation. Was he really the only one left in the dark?

Following this revelation, anger had followed confusion. Anger at that woman for breaking up his family, against Jeongin for being born, against his father for doing what he did.

Jisung was even angry at his mother for letting it happen and not saying anything.

One evening, while he was ruminating in his room, she came to talk to him. She explained the ins and outs of being born omega here. Jisung learned the other side of the medal that day. Disillusionment was only stronger, affecting everything he had always believed in.

The alphas mate with whom they wished, sometimes even having several omegas mated to them. The omegas could do nothing about it and had to learn to live knowing that they would never be the only one.

Jisung learned only much later what really happened to people who presented as omega in his pack. He didn't know if his mother hid it from him because he was too young or if it was because she didn't have the courage to tell him that they were just born to become just pieces of meat.

"I know it's hard, dove. I told your dad it was too early to tell you, but ... the situation imposed itself on us. Jeongin is a nice child, so please try to get along with him."

As if he was going to accept this parasite in his life.

"Jeongin is not my brother and never will be. I hate him. I hate dad.

"I know, dove, but... Jeongin has nothing to do with it. He's in the same situation as you."

"I don't care."
