Seungmin point of view about some things and his "relationship" with Hyunjin.

Seungmin had often thought about what he would do later. It wasn't his fault, his brain never stopped.

When he hadn't presented yet, his thoughts had drifted to the different scenarios and options available. What if he presented as an alpha? He didn't really fit the profile, but after all, why not? He should find an omega, and he should take care of them. It was a lot of responsibility, and even though he was confident in his ability to take care of himself, he wasn't sure he was fit to take care of another person that way. What if he presented as an omega? He didn't want to. When he saw what the omegas had to go through, it didn't really make him want to be one. Moreover, being under someone's yoke didn't really please him. He loved his independence.

Then there was the last possibility: to be a beta. Seungmin thought this was what would suit him best. If he were a beta, he wouldn't have to deal with all these cycles and he'd just have to find another beta.

It was the simplest option.

Seungmin had presented shortly after his 18th birthday. Minho had taken care of him when he had fever outbreak in the afternoon, leaving him bedridden. When Minho realized that the youngest one was not emitting any waves of pheromones, he concluded that he was a beta. Seungmin had been rather happy with the news, buried under all his covers.

It would be easier.

He'd just have to find someone like him.

During the following year Seungmin had been busy finding out what he wanted to do with his life, now that he had finished his basic studies. The idea of finding someone had been pushed to the bottom of his mind. He would see later.

The fact that absolutely no one caught his attention didn't help the youngest. He had had a few relationships in high school, but they didn't last long. Seungmin quickly would grow weary of people if his interest was not pricked, and although the girls were pretty and nice, they didn't interesthim.

Chan had teased him, telling him that he was too complicated. Seungmin had just blown, accustomed to the joke. He wasn't complicated. He was looking for someone who would interest him more than three days.

It was a year later, just a few days after his 19th birthday, that Seungmin had found someone who had caught his attention.

Hwang Hyunjin.

The young man came to their door in the freshness of a morning. Well prepared, the half-long hair gathered in a well-executed half-ponytail. Far too fresh for someone who has been on the run for a year, Seungmin thought.

The young man had heard of them by the Ateez pack, who lived a few hours by car from their village.

"I stayed with them for a few days, and they kept saying that the Stray Kids pack was a good pack. So I came to take a look! I've been looking for a pack for a while now. Can I stay for a while?"

"Well." Chan said, a little confused by the boy's frankness. "We're not called Stray Kids for nothing. Of course you can stay."

The young man had just smiled, thanking him.
