Ruffled Feathers

Chapter 7

OKKK so this chapter is going to have a HUGEEEE time skip in the beginning then its gonna go to after the age of calamity  just saying so you're aware.

After Calamity Ganon. 

Revali's POV:

After Ganon it was pretty peaceful, everyone helped clean everything up and re-build. I haven't been doing much, I still did my routine, but I never really left the castle anymore, I was able to go back to Rito Village, but for some reason I never felt like it, I would have just gone back to being alone. I was at the Library learning the Twilight Hylian Alphabet, I hung out in the Library a lot, I don't know what the Knight has been doing, but I knew that he didn't follow Zelda around anymore. Link would still trained, but by himself, I watched him a lot I felt creepy each time but it was entertaining. It's been a month since Ganon, and I finally decided to go back to Rito Village, I was only visiting but I missed Rito Village a little. 

"BIRD MAN!!" Uh what? Why is the Goron here. To make it even better Mipha and Link were there as well.

"What are you guys doing here?!" Mipha and Daruk smiled at me, Daruks was smile was wider, they walked over to me and Daruk squeezed me, I almost died.

"HOW HAVE YOU BEEN!?" He let go of me, and I adjusted my feathers.

"I have been fine Thanks for asking." I scoffed at him.

"We have been traveling, and we ended up in Rito Village." Mipha gave me a warm smile, why do they have to be so nice.

"Just my luck, I'm visiting here again too." Daruk didn't seem to get my sarcasm.

"Were going to the General store wanna come with us?" I thought for a second, I wanted to get my stuff from the Flight Range and spend some time here, but not with them.

"I'm good, I'll just be at the Flight Range and then leave." I wasn't being sarcastic this time, I guess I'll try to be nicer from now on. 

"ALRIGHT! WELL HAVE A GOOD TIME!" I nodded at him and grinned, why did I smile, Mipha looked surprised, but let it go. I left to go to the Flight Range when I got there it looked sad, there were some books on the floor and some bows also on the floor. The arrows were still organized, surprisingly. After a week of being at Rito Village I went back to the Castle, Link also went back the next day. 

Links POV:

I went back to the Castle, I have been wondering where Revali has been, I knew he had been at the Castle but I didn't know where he was all day. I went to the Library that day and read a book about Nayru the goddess. After I found the book I walked to where chairs and tables were, Revali was sitting at one.  Somehow I wasn't surprised, I decided to sit next to the Bird. He looked surprised at first but smiled to himself.

"How have you been Knight?" He looked up from his book, 'I've been doing good, I have been training mostly.' He smiled at me a little, I was kind of surprised he actually smiled at me.

"I know about your training, you're actually not bad." He was still watching me train? 'Well I did defeat Ganon so I have to be good.' He looked back at his book and wrote something down. He read something about The Twilight Alphabet. I tapped his wing that was on the table, he looked up from his book again. 'Would you wanna go to Rito Village with me and Mipha Tomorrow?" He looked confused at me.

"I would like to, but weren't you just there?" I nodded, 'Yes, but Mipha insisted we go again, and she said maybe you could go as well.' He smiled to himself again then nodded at me. 

"This might be a weird question but would you be able to help me pack?" I nodded to him.

"Just go to my room whenever, I'll start packing right now, I've been wanting to stay there for a while anyways." We were also planning on hanging out there for awhile as well so this worked out for us. 'I'll follow you then.'  He nodded then got up from his chair. We walked to his room, his room had a beige colored wall, he had a hammock but also a bed, he also had some books and arrows scattered across the room.

"Sorry for the mess, I picked some arrows up from the Flight Range." 'It's ok.' He got something that looked like a bag, and looked at me.

"Can you grab Bomb arrows and normal arrows from the top drawn by the hammock?" I nodded and he picked some books up and put them in a different container. I handed him 20 bomb arrows and 40 normal arrows. He put them in his Quiver.

After we finished packing for the Bird he grabbed some food and gave it to me.

"Thanks for helping me Knight." I nodded at him. 'Isn't Knight getting old?' He scoffed.

"Never will be." He grinned at me, I started to think about how he responded to me after I talked about how I was still training, was he watching me train? 'Have you been watching me train?' He almost choked on the water he was drinking. 

"No! No, uh I just saw you training the other day." His feathers fluffed up and I started to laugh a bit, he definitely watched me train. I put my hand in his fluffy feathers.

"What- What are you doing?" I shrugged and continued to feel his feathers. He looked to the side avoiding eye contact. 

"Are you petting me? I'm not a dog." He swatted my hand away, then scoffed at me. He looked back at me, then rolled his eyes. Jee, I just saved him from Ganon and hes back to being all bratty. 

"Where are we going in Rito Village?" Me and Mipha just planned on hanging out with someone, I think that Mipha was gonna hang out with Zelda. 'Well Mipha is bringing Zelda, so she said we could just hang out if you'd like.' I decided to write it down, he started to read it when he finished he nodded at me.

"Sure, whatever you wanna do Knight." I smiled at him. 'Thank you.' he smiled back at me.

"Alright see you tomorrow Bird man." I patted his shoulder, he looked stunned, I just speaked to him for the first time.

Revali's POV:

Did he just speak to me?! His voice was so soft, and calming, he never talked how did it sound so calming? He walked out of my room just like that. What just happened? Am I dreaming? I had to think about what just happened. I sat down on the bed in my room, it was late and I should go to bed, but I kept thinking about that stupid Knight.  

OK sorry for being so late for an update, I also have no idea how to end this and it is a bit short but it's fine. I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT
