Ruffled Feathers

Chapter 8

Revali's POV: 

I woke up in my hammock as usual, I didn't feel like getting up but I did, I got dressed, trained, and then went to the Hylians room. He was there, as expected.

"Revali!" Mipha and Zelda are also in his room. I sighed, and walked inside. Everyone had their bags and supplies. I have no idea what we'll be doing.

"Hello Revali, we're going to be traveling inside a carriage as usual. The Sheikah's still have the Sheikah slate so we aren't able to teleport for a while." I nodded, and Zelda smiled back at me. We walked down to the front of the castle and went into the carriage. The Hylian was up front with the horses, Mipha and Zelda were in front of me, and I was in front of them.

"So, me and Mipha will go to the shops and you two may come along. Unless you don't want to." I honestly didn't want to be with them today.

"I think I will just train at the Flight Range." Zelda had a small disappointed face, but it went away and she nodded.

" One more thing, Robbie, Purah, and Impa will be coming tomorrow. Impa somehow got Robbie and Purah to come, while others will work on the Sheikah slate." I rolled my eyes, I knew that one of them or more would bother me all day to go to the general store with them. Most likely Impa, she will probably go to the Flight Range to creep me out. It somehow didn't take very long to get there, I was thinking it was probably because Mipha loved to go to the Hebra Region even before Calamity, she said it was 'Just wonderful!' 

"I'm so very excited!" Mipha was talking to Zelda, they were talking the whole hour, it was kind of annoying. The Knight stopped at the stable by Rito Village. Horses weren't allowed in Rito Village, and it was hard to even get animals in Rito Village.  Link went to put the Horses in the stables. Mipha and Zelda started to walk to Rito Village, I walked over the Knight which was feeding the horses.

"Why do you waste your time with these Animals?" Link looked over to me with no emotion, then turned back to the horses. I scoffed annoyed.

"Last night, did you speak? and why to me?" He sighed and gave away the last apple, then turned to me. 

"Don't flatter yourself Bird." He patted my chest then walked away, I stood there then caught up to him. 

"I was not flattered! I was just asking Knight." He nodded sarcastically, and kept walking,.

"I'm serious!" 

"Whatever you say." He ran over to Mipha and Zelda and waved at them. I walked on my own till I got to where I usually fly off to the Flight Range. I got there and trained all day. I was alone all day until I went to Rito Village for food.

"Revali!" Mipha ran over to me and Zelda was behind her.

"Hi Revali! Want to get food with us?" I thought about it, Mipha had a hopeful face expression which made me feel bad if I said no, plus it can't be that bad right? Mipha and Zelda walked over to the Shop

"Where's your Knight?" Zelda turned to me and looked confused, but then realized.

"Oh! The Elder got us a cabin! Link is there right now."  I nodded, and she continued to watch Mipha be VERY over excited about the new kinds of food in the shop. We finally got everything which was like a year's worth of food and we walked to their Cabin. I honestly never knew Rito Village had a Cabin but I guess it did. It was huge compared to my house. We were staying there for a long time but this is a very big Cabin. I didn't need to pack very many supplies or armor, I left most of them at the Flight Range for training. 

"Oh! And Revali, you can stay here as well, there are 7 rooms so you can stay here." I nodded at her and smiled a bit, I was happy I didn't have to stay in my house all day. It was very sad and cold, even for a Rito. 

"Thank you." Zelda smiled. We walked inside, and it was even bigger on the inside. Zelda cleared her throat and looked nervous.

"Uh, don't be mad but while we were shopping I had some of my Knights move your stuff here if that is alright, I can show you your room, it has a balcony facing the Flight Range if you want to fly there any day." I almost choked on air, but calmed down.

"You did me a favor actually, I was not looking forward to taking any of my stuff here." She seemed to relax as well as I smiled at her. Link came down the very wide stair and waved at us. 

"Link! Oh my Hylia you will not believe what food they had!" Zelda grabbed the bags of food and chuckled a little and went to put the food away, I followed. 

"I can cook, I am very familiar with these foods, and I can cook big meals with little food." She widened her eyes and smiled at me. After being on my own as a kid for so long I figured out how to make big meals with barely any food.

"Thank you so much Revali! It means so much to me." I was happy to hear that, she put all of the food away, and once she left I started to cook food. 

Links POV:

Mipha dragged me to her room, it was designed for Zora's so it looked pretty cool. She started to talk fast about all of the cool new fish she saw and food that she wouldn't see at Zora's Domain. The cabin we were at was for the Champions, and more people. There were multiple Cabins like this, but not as many rooms. 

"Good news, Revali decided to cook instead of you." I was actually happy about that, I didn't know any big meal recipes. It surprisingly didn't take very long for Revali to finish cooking. It was actually a very big meal.

"How did you make this Revali? We didn't have this much food." Mipha was fascinated and she sat down.

"Its a secret tiny Princess." Mipha wasn't bothered by the name she hurried to get food and stared at it for way too long. We all got our food and were eating. Mipha ate as well, once we finished I put all of the dishes where they belonged and went to my room as well as everyone else. Mipha went to Zelda's room, I don't know why but she did. I heard my door open while I was taking my armor off. It was Revali.

"I'm going to um, be with Impa almost all day tomorrow if you want to come with." I watched his feathers start to get fluffed up. I nodded at him and smiled. It seemed fun actually, and I think that Purah and Robbie will most likely come as well since it's Impa and after Calamity they have been glued together. He seemed to hesitate to talk again.

"Also, you should talk more, everyone would like it." I widened my eyes as he left closing my door, I guess it would be easier to just talk. I thought about it and decided I would only talk around the champions, Impa, Robbie, and Purah for now. 

OMG HI!!!! I finally published this chapter and im so happy about it. I will be going to my aunts house tomorrow I will try and write on my phone, but yeah. I don't know if I will make another chapter tonight but I made a chapter!!! YAYYYY, I went to the park with my friend (Maybe more????) It was alright I felt embarrassed the whole time because they kept mentioning how I didn't talk about myself but thats alright!!! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I will be starting a bunch of new storys, but I won't finish them until I finish this.
