Robin my love

The gate

T's POV
I woke up to Robin playing with my hair and Dustin and Steve missing?
"Good morning sleepy head!" Robin smiled.
"Where's the boys?" I asked my voice dry.
"They climbed out the ceiling hatch and are using Dustins walkie to try and get help."
"Mmm okayy," I said readjusting and going back to sleep.

When I awoke again Erica was banging the green stuff Steve found against a table.
"Uh robin," I said pointing towards Erica. Robin quickly stood up and snatched the green stuff from the younger girl.
"What are you doing?" Robin questioned.
"If the human body doesn't get water, it will die," Erica stated trying to grab the container back but Robin raised it out of her reach.
"I hate to break it to you but this is not water."
"Psh Yeah but its a liquid!" Erica retorted trying to grab it again.
I heard a noise from outside, I shot up and rushed to tell Robin hoping she would know what to do and she did. We all climbed to where Steve and Dustin were watching the door open and two men walked in taking boxes away. After they'd left Steve hoped down motioning us to follow so we did. He stuck to the goo Erica was banging before under the large metal door telling for us to slide under. Thankfully we all made it out in time before the obtained shattered and the goo destroyed the floor.
"Still wanna drink that?" Robin snarked at Erica. I looked ahead to see a painfully long hallway.
"Hope you guys are in good shape," Steve stepped forward. "Looking at you roast beef." he said softly smacking dustin before continuing.

We'd already been walking for way too long and the boys had been talking the whole time. That's when I decided to just completely ignore anything the guys said and lose myself in the thoughts, Until I was grabbed by Steve and pulled back by him and Dustin.
"The Russians know about the gate." He said. He knew Eleven so he must've been talking about the thing she opened up in the wall papa loved so much.
"Im sorry is there something you 3 would like to share with the class," Robin turned back looking at us conspiring. Steve and Dustin looked at me with wide eyes shaking their heads then doing the same to Robin. I just shrugged and gave her a sorry look. Suddenly static came from the walkie, Dustin ran over to Erica and practically ripped her back pack open.
"It's the code," Robin says.
"Where ever its coming from.... It's close," Steve states.

After a bunch more walking we reached a junction at the end of the tunnel, all of us stared in awe and fear. A guard looks down causing us all to duck behind some boxes.
"That was close,"  I said.
"Yeah to close," Steve responded. "Alright look were gonna stay low and were gonna move fast," He said before waddling over behind a larger stack of boxes with all of us following.
"I saw it! First floor north west!" Erica whispered.
"Saw what?" Dustin whispered back.
"The comms room!"
"Are you sure?" Steve asked.
"Positive, there was a bunch of lights and Shit!" She said looking a but annoyed.
"That could be a hundred different things!" Dustin argued.
"I mean its worth a shot," I said with a nervous smile on my face. Dustin looked up at me with a sort of confused with a hint of anger look on his face. I tried looking back at Robin but the moment I did she looked away, weird.
After waddle-running to the comms room, steve softly closed the door when a man turned around in his chair with a bewildered look, clutching his gun. Robin began repeating the code to him which worked for about 2 seconds until Steve came running at the man Totally beating him up! Dustin kneeled down to the passed out Russian, grabbing his key card.
"What are you doing?" Erica asked.
"Getting our ticket out of here." Dustin responded with a duhh look on his face.
"You seriously wanna walk all the way back?" She shot back.
"No i mean I thought we could relax a bit you know have a picnic," Dustin suggested in a sarcastic voice.
"Have a picnic?" Erica almost shouted with a crack in her voice. "We came here for the radio!"
Robin started walking off as I followed not wanting to listen to anymore bickering. We looked up a set of stairs to see about her room with lights and lasers.
"Uh guys there's something up there," Robin said ending the battle between the two younger kids. We started up the stairs, me sticking next to Robin. We all peeked through to see a giant laser pointed at the wall, The gate. I stepped back. This was bad, really bad.
"Holy shit," Steve said.
"The gate," Dustin finished.
"Wait wait wait you've see this before?" Robin said confused.
"Not exactly-"
"All you need to know is its bad, really bad and we need to get out of here like right now," I cut dustin off.
We all walked back down the stairs to see the Russian guard from before gone-
"Uh steve where's your little friend?" Robin worriedly joked. The alarms went off. Now we were in deep shit. I heard men shouting on the other side of the door. Steve quickly ran up against it holding it closed.
"A little help?" He grunted, Robin went over to help him keep the door closed. The two younger kids were going to escape through the vents. Steve told me to go with them but I couldn't leave Robin, I closed the hatch on the kids and ran to help with the door. But i was too late, the guard had already knocked down the door leaving steve and robin to fall to the floor and become unconscious. I yelled for Robin but a guard had already come over and punched me right in the head, making me fall into darkness.
