The battle of starcourt

"DUSTIN! THERES SOMETHING ON TOP OF STAR COURT!!" I said feeling more worried than I ever have in my entire life. The one and only love of my life was practically charging straight to her death and I was powerless to stop it.
"Shit shit shit!" He quickly switched back to the Channel he had set Steve's walkie too. "Steve you gotta get out of there the mind flayers on top of star court! I repeat the mind flayer is on top of starcourt!"
"Dus—n, I c—t —derst-d -ou!" Steves voice and from the walkie.
"God damn low battery again!" He yelled, he then looked up at me with wide eyes. I shook my head knowing he was asking if there was anything I could do. Sure the truth serum had worn out but after just taking that thing out of eleven I felt completely drained, so the power stopper must still be in effect. Dustin continued to switch through channels desperately trying to get someone to answer, but nothing was working. By now I was sitting on the edge of the hill anxiously shaking while watching star court. I had zipped up robins sweater and stuck my knees in it trying to hold myself together and keep the bad thoughts out. Once I pulled myself together and turned around I saw Dustin happily singing into his mic. What. the. fuck. is going on.
It turns out Dustin had bee trying to get the password for a Russian safe from his girlfriend, it was completely and utterly ridiculous.
Steve and robin still weren't responding nor was the group of 'mall rats'. A loud thumping was heard from above, I looked up to see tons of helicopters heading toward the mall! They at least had some back up against the beast in star court now.
I had no idea what was happening down there but all I could wish for was that robin would be safe. Soon cars with bright lights were pulling up everywhere surrounding the mall. I saw the group come out of the mall some running up to people waiting on the outside, while others held there heads hung low with no one to run too. I kept searching for a robin to come out the doors but she never did. I waited 5 minutes which turned into 10 and then 15 but there was still no Robin. I felt my eyes fill with the now familiar wet burning of tears powerful as the ocean begging to be let free but I didn't let them. I wiped my eyes hoping with everything I had that Robin would come out those doors.
I was about to give up when I heard a voice-
"Teaghan?!" It was the voice of an angle, the voice of my girl Robin Buckley. I jumped up and ran to her,knocking her over causing us to tumble down the hill and letting the sea of tears escape my eyes. When we stopped I looked up at her, she was holding me down for a change hugging me so tight I almost couldn't breathe.
"Oh my fuck I was so scared I lost you! You have no idea how worried I was!" I yelled at her, my tears burning with anger but only for a second before switching back to relief. We sat there for a long time neither one of us daring to let go, but eventually steve came and tore us apart. We were put in a van which drove us back to star court. I stood there awkwardly not knowing where to go when the small fragile looking women from before came up to me asking if I had any where to go. I tried to turn to Robin but even her parents had shown up and were hugging her and crying. I just looked back to the women, the tears were back. I fell into her arms as she offered to take me home with her and eleven.
I learned her name was Joyce and she had two boys, will who had been lost in the upside down and sort of developed a sixth sense for the other dimension and her older son Jonathan who was very protective of his family and girlfriend (ooOoOOo). When Elevens new papa didn't come back Joyce had adopted her and me after getting me a real birth certificate which she had even gotten to say male. I was finally a real boy and be and eleven were finally reunited as siblings.
