Too Late

Michelle's POV
I went to school and went to a cafe and bought cupcakes. I biked to school and when I arrived I went to our classroom. Oscar was sitting there looking at me and im trying not to speak to him because today is the last day ill be in this school. I turned to Silver who is teary eyed and not sleeping. She started sobbing at my shoulder. She didnt wanna make much noise because most of my classmates doesnt know im leaving. Oscar looked abit confused yet curious. "Why is she crying?" Oscar asked me. "Personal reasons" I replied to Oscar. Silver then wiped her tears and acted as normal as possible as the bell rang. The teacher came in and the lesson begin.

- Time Skip -

It is now break time and me and Silver went to the rooftop running to Lisa and Zach's classrooms on the way to call them to come up. I wanted to invite Oscar, but I didnt have the guts. We got to the rooftop and we sat on the floor. "What time are you going to move away, Michelle?" Zach asked. "7pm, id love to watch the sunset in my favourite place one last time" I told them with a smile on my face. "You guys probably know where my favourite place it" I asked them jokingly. "The rooftop" they all said and laughed. I placed the cupcakes in the middle of us and opened the cupcake box. "Help your self" I told them as they grabbed a cupcake each and I grabbed a cupcake too. We ate the cupcake trying to laugh every bit of pain of me leaving today. We finished eating the cupcake then we went to our classrooms together while we chatted. We got to our room and me and Silver sat on our seat while chatting to eachother. The bell rang and class begun. The teacher came in and started teaching us the lesson.

- Time Skip -

Class was over and its currently 3pm so me, Silver, Lisa, and Zach decided to hangout before it turns 6pm because I will be watching the sunset on the rooftop alone by that time. We went to a shop and bought remembrance for me. They bought a bracelet with their names written on it. "Our remembrance" Zach said smiling at me. I turned the bracelet the other side and I saw my name in the bracelet too. I smiled at them and hugged them tight. I went in to buy them some bracelets too. I chose color Silver for Silver, Purple for Lisa, Red for Zach. I wrote each and one of our names in all of those bracelets. I went out of the shop and gave it to them. Our bracelets is our friendship bracelets with all of our names in it. "Thankyou Michelle!" Silver said. "Thankyou ver much" Zach said. "Thankyou, Michelle" Lisa said. We all hugged again and went to watch a movie that is worth nearly 2 hours. We bought popcorn and drinks and went in to the cinema.

The movie ended and it was really good! "Well, its nearly 6pm, you should go now and watch the sunset" Zach said smiling at me with teary eyes. I burst out crying and so did they. We eventually stopped crying and we gave eachother one last hug. "Goodbye bestfriend" Silver said wiping her tears away. "Goodbye Michelle" Zach said. "Goodbye Michelle, it was great meeting you" Lisa said. "Goodbye, you guys, I will miss you three. I will never, forget you three" I told them and I walked off. I unlocked my bike and biked to the school again so I can go to the rooftop and watch the sunset.

Oscar's POV

I saw Michelle leave and I still have no Idea why they are crying. Silver and Lisa left and Zach was about to walk away from the cinema aswell when I stopped him. "O-oh! Oscar what are you doing hetr?" Zach said trying to fake smile. "I know you know why Michelle is ignoring me" I told him. "I- i dont" Zach said. "I heared Michelle whisper to you yesturday about something ignore" I said. "Fine you got me" Zach said. "Well?! Why is she ignoring me?!" I asked. "I cant say, Michelle told me not to" Zach said. "I saw you, Silver, Lisa and Michelle crying. What was happening there?" I asked curious of the moment I saw. "Michelle is moving away, thats the truth, thats the reason we are crying, and thats the reason Michelle is ignoring you" Zach said and I went wide eye. "Where is she?!" I asked and Zach went silent. "Where is she right now?!" I shout. "Rooftop" Zach saic then ran off. Rooftop? There is so many rooftop in this city... The school rooftop! I ran as fast as I could to the school. I arrived to the school tiredly and I saw Michelle's bike parked at the bike parking area of the school. I ran up to the stairs. I opened the rooftop door and I entered the rooftop and saw Michelle sitting on the floor watching the sunset. "Michelle! Why did you tell me?!" I shout at Michelle. Michelle turned to me and was abit shocked. "How did you know I was here?" Michelle asked. "Just forget that! Why didnt you tell me you were moving away?!" I asked. Michelle just smiled. "I just thought its for the best" Michelle said. "Dont leave please" I told Michelle. "Im sorry Oscar, but I have too" Michelle said. "I know this is silly and funny but, the rooftop we are at right now was the place you first confessed to me" I said and she slighly laughed. "And now im willing to confess to you at the same rooftop you confessed to me" I said and her eyes went wide. "Michelle, I know its been months since you told me your feelings but, I love you too" I said to her. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked Michelle. "No" Michelle replied. I was shocked, did she loose feelings for me? "Why?" I asked sadly. "Sorry Oscar but, you are too late" Michelle said as the sunset is over and she walked out of the rooftop. I was too late.
