Too Late

He finally agreed to hang out

Michelle's POV
I got to school early again, as usual. And I bought a different flavour soda this time. I finally see him arrive school and i ran up to him. "I figured you didnt like the flavour of the previous soda I got you, so maybe you would like this flavour soda better" i said. He looks at the soda, "no thanks, i dont prefer soda from you" he said as he walked away. Is it because he knows my feelings for him that he does this more often? I mean he was always like this to me even if I havent confessed. Ill keep trying, maybe one day we will finally end up together. I went in to class and drank the soda. The teacher walks in. "Today we have a quiz" the teacher said. I forgot there was a quiz today!

- Time Skip -

Class was finally over and as I look at Oscar, he seems to be chatting with someone. I tried to listen to there conversation. "What food do you like? We can go walk home together and buy some" the girl said. "Cookies" Oscar replied. Maybe I should get him cookies tomorrow! That seems like a good idea. "Silver! Wanna bike home together?" I asked Silver. "Yea sure but can we stop by a bookstore, I wanna buy a new book" she replied. "Sure!" I said and we biked our way to the bookstore.

- Time Skip -

I baked cookies last night and i hope Oscar would love it! I went to go to school early again as usual. I unlocked my bike and started biking to school. On my way there i saw Oscar biking to school while having the same girl from last time sitting on his back of the bike. We got to school and I went to Oscar right after the girl left and went to her classroom. "Hey Oscar! I heared you like cookies? I baked you some!" I said. "No thanks, I already ate breakfast" he replied. "Well it can be your snack for later or something" i said. "No" and he walked away. Why does he always do this! So mean. Yet so handsome and cute and- "hey Michelle" A boy said. I looked back and see Zach greeting me. "Oh hi Zach" I replied. "Have you been practicing the song lately?" He said. "Yea i have, how about you?" I replied. "Im also practicing it. Anyways, ill go to my classroom now! See you" he said and ran to his classroom. I waved back. I walked to my classroom and sat on my seat. I looked at silver who is sleeping on her table. Shes always sleeping, i poked her face multiple times. "WHAT" she shouts. "Sorry i need you to come with me" i said and drag her out of the room while she is still half awake. We got to the room of the girl Oscar always hangs out with. "silver, do you know her?" I said pointing at the girl. "No? But she is familiar" she said. "Well think it out! Where have you seen her that makes her familiar!" I said. "Chill Im thinking" She replied. After a few seconds of thinking she had a 'Idea' expression on her face. She grabbed her phone and scroll through. "Here!" she said and showed me her phone. "She is the TOP 1 of their class and also went to one of the best school for high school" Silver said. I looked at the photo and her name is, Penny. All of a sudden we hear the bell rang. "Oh no we are so gonna be late if teacher gets to the room before us!" Silver said and we ran. After we got back to our classroom and sat on our seats. The teacher walked in not long after we got seated. I looked at Oscar, why cant he just accept my cookies, or soda, or even just my feelings. He looked at me and gave me a glare. Thats scary. I started to take notes.

- Time Skip -

Class was over and i walked out of the room, outside the room I see penny chatting with Oscar. Im really jealous but i should just ignore. Im too dumb compared to Penny. As I was walking out with a sad expression, Silver and Zach ran to me. "Why so sad Michelle?" Silver said. I looked at them and continued walking wothout saying a word. They started following me. "Dont be sad! Lets cheer you up!" Zach said with a smile on his face. His smile is so pure! I drag them both to a nearby park and we sat under a tree. I placed the cookie box with cookies inside that I baked for Oscar and place it down on the grass. "Here eat some, I baked it myself" I told them as they grab a piece of cookie and bite it. "This is delicious!" Silver said. "I agree with this sleepy head!" Zach said. "What did you call me?!" Silver said turning her head to Zach. Oh no that looks like she is about to atta- aand there she goes, she attacked Zach, giving him slight punches on the face. Zach ran laughing while Silver chases him. Its nice seeing them happy. I ate more of my cookies and i see them both whisper. Now they are approaching me. What are they planning. "H-hey get away what are you both doing" i said and they walk closer to me. They jump on top of me and tickled me. I laughed so hard. I started tickling them back. They made me happy even at my sad times. I smiled as we continued our tickling fight. We went home afterwards. I lay on my bed, I looked at my phone and started chatting with them both. After we chat and it was getting late. I slept.

- Next Day -

I woke up and quickly went to school as my alarm clock actually broke this time. I biked faster than ever. And arrived at school just intime before the gates closed. I ran to my classroom and sat so tiredly. "I thought you where gonna be late again" Silver said. "Haha funny joke" I said. The teacher arrived and went on with the lesson. "Wont you try to hangout with Oscar?" Silver whispered. "I cant, he doesnt even accept my gifts for him, how else for a hangout?" I whispered back. "well you did say you will try" Silver whispered back. "He wont accept it" i whispered. "Well go try it after class" Silver whispered back. "No he-" i was cut off by silver saying "Just do it".

After class was over I looked at Oscar, Then I looked at Silver. Silver gave me a thumbs up with a smile on her face. I turned back to look at Oscar. "Oscar, wanna ha-" i was cut off by Oscar saying "I already know what your going to ask. I can hear you both whispering you know" he said looking back at me. "Oh" i replied. "Well im guessing I know your answer? But i want you to say your answer" i said. "yes" i looked at him shocked. "did i hear that right?" I said. "Yes you did" He said and i walked out with him. I looked back at silver doing a Happy dance. I turned back to look at oscar. He finally agreed to hangout with me!
