18. (Decorations)

You: Keep these flower buckets there. (Turned) Why are you here? You should be with Aunt Melina, go. 

Today was busier than usual as today was the day wedding preparations have started. Everyone was very busy except Jason. This person was roaming around trying to look busy. He looked like an invigilator inspecting the servant's work.

Tom was also occupied where the aisle was to be formed and decorated. He was taking glancing at the queen from time to time to check if she's alright. But he was doing the work faster than anyone, which was noticed by Jacob.

Jason: Y/N! Can't you walk carefully?

Except servants everyone stopped hearing Jason's voice at Y/N. Melina and Rachel couldn't come or hear as they were in the different corners of the house. Jacob was trying to calm Jason down. What has happened?

Nothing, Y/N was walking with bowl of water and rose petals trying to find a place for it but bumped into Jason. She flinched hearing his sudden shouting. Jacob was trying to say that it's not right to talk to her like that in her own house where her house members are present too.

But he was too red to listen to his father.

Jason: Are you really blind? You ruined all my clothes; you really don't have-

Tom: STOP!

Hearing his voice, servants also stopped and froze in their places. Now something has surely happened. Tom couldn't handle Y/N getting shouted at like this, especially when she has absolutely no mistake here.

Jason: Listen Tom, I'm talking to-

Tom: You're talking to my closest person standing in our property. I don't care about the future but I can ensure this marriage can still be cancelled.

Jason: Are you trying to thre-

He was again cut off by Tom. This time he was in too much anger, he put his right hand behind his back and clicked. He was shocked to death when nothing happened. His heartbeat incresed and he couldn't think of anything now.

He was now scared; Tom didn't raise his voice till now with a single word but now he felt threatened.

Tom: I'm telling you to behave with her. This is the first and last time I'm seeing and forgiving you.

Jason: I... I'm sorry!

Y/N nodded and went to Jason, taking his hand, she took him to the restroom. She gave him his other clothes to change. She noticed Jason's shocked expressions but didn't say anything. Breaking the silence Jason spoke

Jason: Y/N, I didn't mean to shout. I'm really sorry.

You: It's fine Jason. I forgave you. Just don't do it again.

He nodded at her words. He changed silently and then they both went to the preparations again. When she came in the hall again Tom asked if she's ok... Y/N assured him that she's perfectly fine. 

Seeing Tom worried a third person approached them, Uncle Hellin. Y/N greeted him with her usual bright smile. But he still asked if everything was alright. Y/N and Tom gave him a satisfactory answer, but he was still suspicious. But for now, he shrugged.

After some hours of hard work their dining hall was ready. It was decorated so beautifully. Hard work and emotions were really very clearly visible.

Melina and Rachel were looking for the aisle area, with the difference of three hours they were also done. They looked at each other happily and nodded. Later they entered the palace and were mesmerised by the hall decorations.

Everyone was now seated and taking a little rest. But Jason wasn't seen anywhere.

With Jason:

He was in the forest area of Raven Dynasty only. He was waiting for two specific men whom he assigned a work. Seemed like those men were taking their time to come. Soon they came and called Jason. He turned back.

Jason: I told you some work?

Spy 1 - Sorry sir, it was high security there.

Jason: Now tell me, did you guys get to know something?

They (men) looked at each other, scared and a little shivering. 

Spy 2: Everything seemed normal sir. Nothing suspicious.

Jason looked at them baffled. How could his pretention go wrong? He decided to now let things go as it was the wedding after only two days. He told the men to go now. They bowed to Jason and went, sighing in relief. 

Jason also could not handle the fact that why couldn't he use his magic at that time. Tom's eyes still scared him to death. He sighed with a shaky breath and sat on his horse again, going back to the palace.

He could feel his legs weak but somehow managed to enter the palace like nothing in the world bothered him at all. He was soon called for dinner and joined the family. But his mind was still busy somewhere else. 

No one seemed to notice him because of tiredness from the whole day.
