8. (Happy?)

Yawning on the bed, he sat. Tired from last night's incidents, Jason went to take a shower. No maids joined him as there was a whole new recruitment in the palace. It was announced that Y/N's family committed suicide due to depression. For some time, Walton Family acted sad.

Slowly with the passing time everyone started to forget about the incident and the princess. They were now busy in their prosperous lives. Yes, happiness and prosperity came to the Walton's family after the sacrifice of Jason's first mate. He met Rina regularly to ask her whereabouts and the upcoming conditions. 

He was now also sitting with Rina in the main hall as she told him there was an important announcement. Everyone was curious because she looked tense. Jason was looking at her with a question face. Jacob and Melina were also confused.

Rina: Your Honor and Highness! As you told me to see Prince's future mate, I did. But what I was doing was something dangerous.

Now they were on a quest. What can happen to them? They had previously been told that only happiness would come and the same question they asked Rina.

Rina: Yes, because I could see that but now it's changing and turning. I can feel that someone is playing or changing Jason's future but I'm not sure about that.

Melina asked about his mate first and was expecting a good answer but the answer was a little weird. They were looking at each other, hearing that confused.

Rina: Highness! Jason's mate will come here after 13 years. But remember she will change your life. In a good or bad way, I don't know. But do not deny her sayings or it can bring a disaster.

They again looked at each other and asked Rina who would be her mate. Not the name but her identity. Why she'll be so superior and what type of disaster could she bring to them. Good or bad, Walton's Family were in an ego that no one could defeat them or make a fool of them.

Rina: She's directly connected to someone the universe couldn't define as God or devil. Her relationship with him, I don't know much. 

They were all shocked to hear her. They thought that Jason's life must be changing in a good way as he got a supernatural person as his mate but the next line made them drop their hearts. 

Rina: But I can see someone die!

Jacob: Who is it? Is it one of us? 

She sighed and looked down. The reason? She didn't know. She could see death. Not even knowing who and how many, but she told the truth that she don't know. But at the end she said "they have to be careful".

The family stood and thanked her, bidding a goodbye. But the parents had a worried look on their faces. But the son seems to be thinking of another world, lost in his thoughts.

Melina: Did you understand what she said?

Jacob: We need to be so careful and serious.

Hearing them talk like this Jason came out of his world into the real one again and spoke

Jason: Don't be too much in your egoistic world dad and mom. Didn't you hear what Rina said? We can't dent or repel her, otherwise disaster will come.

They both nodded and then Jacob said that this has a long time to come so they should be relaxed. They went to their normal lives again. Time started to pass by and many things changed in this world. Mates have different rules and recognition techniques.

They developed tattoos and scents; something like in werewolves' system. It's not like the development troubled them but they were happy. Everyone could find their mate easily. The only one in the kingdom who didn't know about his mate was Jason.

Time changed many things for the kingdom too. The rules changed for the people as their king changed. Yes, Jason was the king now. When did 13 years passed, no one noticed. 

Yes, the time has come. 13 years passed. Now, Jason was so out of control and tired of waiting for his mate but what else could he do except wait? Soon his birthday was coming and the grand function was organised. 

When the function was organised Melina's mind went somewhere. She called Jason in her room. 

Melina: Son! Do you know what's today?

Jason: It's my birthday mom, and a function for it.

Melina: No, it's the day you'll meet your stronger and supernatural mate. How could you forget?

And then his eyes widen. He thanked that the function was yet to start. Finally, the time has come and he can meet his final mate. He became happy and excited. He told his parents to accompany him soon and he left to see the arrangements or to find one.

He was standing near the railing watching all the things done. It was finally time for the people to come.
