"Sorry I forgot to tell you this but can you wait until three weeks? We're going to celebrate our new company rank in a hotel, Vick knows the address so I request for you to attend the party"

"Sure, I would like to" you beamed. Erwin laughed at your excitement.

"Okay then, I'll meet you there" he said piling up his messed up papers.

"Thanks for inviting" you said.

You sighed in releif almost celebrating inside that you lied pretty well and acted like it was all good. Thinking of which, you've got pretty good at it.

As you walked through the empty corridor, you saw Levi pass beside you, ignoring you, his eyes straight ahead focused on his path, face unreadable as every.

Your heart started aching, ignoring him this way was hurtful he might not show his hurt but he is feeling inside. You just wanted to hug him, stay in his arms, never let go. But fear was the only thing that kept you away from him, denied your feelings for him.

You were almost at your office room. As soon as you were about to knock you were pulled inside and gently tackled to the floor. You opened your eyes, only to reveal Levi above you, who had you trapped under him, his eyes fixated over yours.

"L-Levi.... what are you doing... here?" You managed to say through your dry throat. "I thought you passed through me, just few seconds earlier?"

"It's just your imagination" he said in his usual plain voice.

Silence stretched between you two, but your eyes returned each other's gazes.

"I need you" he whispered.

"I know" you murmured back, looking into his pain filled eyes.

He then let you go, snapping back to reality. "I'm sorry" he said, messaging his temples. "I don't know what's wrong with me" he said as he sat on his usual office chair.

"So it means you didn't meant what you said right now?" You asked standing up, rubbing your wrists from his tight grip on them.

"No" he plainly answered.

Hearing that, you lowered your head, holding back the tears forcing your eyes to let go, making your vision to go blurry.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry okay... I'm really sorry for what I said back then, I said because I was too afraid of him, I don't know what to do, I'm totally lost... I-I... I'm" you sniffed unable to let your heavy throat speak.

You felt warm arms around you, and your head on a muscular chest. That same amazing scent, that warmth radiating through your body, his security that made you feel safe, this was the only thing that made you feel happy.

"It's okay" he said, his voice still plain and eyes faced ahead, same expression but different feeling in his heart. The feeling of love that he longed for so long, finding a new piece of love and giving it another chance to prove that it exists. All this time, love was silent and asleep but now it has woken up.

"It's not, I've hurt you, there's no difference between him and me" you sheded your heavy tears of pain.

"I'm going to save you, that's a promise, not just you but your family as well" his hugged tighten only to increasing your comfort.

"Levi..." you said in a weak voice. He hummed in response.

"Would you like it if I say something?" You asked hesitantly, your head still resting on his chest.

"It's okay, say what ever you want to" he said.

"I'm pregnant" you finally mannaged to say it.

Levi swiftly broke off the hug, his hands over your shoulders. He wore a shocked expression which was rarely shown. "I'm sorry" you murmured averting your gaze at the floor.

Levi muttered, slightly an expression of saddness upon his face. "Congratulations"

"But I'm not taking the baby, Vick will surely kill it, he already said he doesn't want childrens" you murmured, your gaze still dropped at the floor.

"So he used you?"

"No he was drunk, and he doesn't know that I'm pregnant so I'm gonna take abortion" you said.

You heard a soft sigh of relief. "It's okay, I think you're making the right decision" he said, letting the grip over you go.

"You think so? " you asked now looking up at him. He nodded in response and walked to his chair.

"Here" he tossed some papers at the edge of his desk "these are the papers you have to fill up".

"Okay" you walked towards his desk and sat on a chair across his desk and started filling once you took a pen.

Now that you were finally having a good relationship with Levi, you enjoyed being with Levi. You were the only one talking, he talked less cause' he didn't had a habit of talking but said few funny jokes, he had a serious life yet he did enjoyed being with you, listening to your delightful words carefully. This was the only reason that kept you sane and happy and Vick's fists didn't bother too much these days.

But what happens if he finds out that you and Levi are too close to each other? That was the only question bugging you.
