Chapter 21:-

Levi

Oh God!... This is so annoying

Where are Hanji and Erwin? Its 3 o'clock pm. I wonder what's taking them so long?

I decided to check my e-mails from my company. As soon as I opened it, the first e-mail was from (Y/n). I immediately clicked on it and her message popped up on the screen.

To Levi

Do know where Lily is? Vick just got the news that Lily was gone missing, please search for her!

I'm really worried about her.

I checked the time and it was given just one hour before. I decided to reply...

To (Y/n)

Lily is with me, we were able to save Lily from Terry, we even reported for child abuse, because we found some dark bruises over Lily, but don't worry, she's safe with us.

What exactly happened, why did you moved to other city?

We're working on your family right. We'll find them and save both of you.

I shut my laptop and heard Lily awake. "Good morning" she said, rubbing her eyes.

I nodded. "Do you want to go out to get breakfast?"

"Yes!" she beamed.

"Then get ready" I said. She got off the bed and ran to the restroom.

"Can you please help me brush my teeth?" Lily said from the restroom.

I walked in the restroom and grabbed her tooth brush and applied some tooth paste I bought her that day and started brushing her tiny teeth.

Of course, how can a four year old can brush on her own.

"Thank you for helping me brush my teeth Mr" she said, drying her wet mouth with soft paper towel. I nodded in response.

I put on my sandy brown jacket, made with fine material, tugged my mobile in my pocket and exited the door, locking it.

"Where are we going?"  Lily asked, while playing with her doll I just bought her.

"Cafeteria" I said, face ahead, concentration on the road.

"Okay" she said, popping the 'O'.

"Two chicken burgers" I ordered.plainly.

"And ice-cream!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down to see the man behind the counter.

"you heard her" I said

"Which one? Chocolate or Vanilla?" the man asked.

I looked down at her, waiting for her answer.

"Umm...Vanilla!" she beamed.

Just like me...

"Okay, two chicken burgers and one vanilla ice-cream com'in up!" the man said, passing on the order.

After few minutes, I received my order. We both walked over to the table. I kept my plate on the table and saw Lily's small body, struggling to sit on the chair, which seemed tall for her.

I lifted her light body and settled her on the chair. I then sat on mine and unfolded the paper wrapped around my burger while Lily ate or maybe kept licking her ice-cream.

Just like her mother...crazy on ice-creams...

A smirk played across my face, as it took me to the days of past, when    (Y/n)  and I sneaked out of the office to go on a date. She had eaten three ice-creams at a time, and she ate mine as well. I still remembered glaring at her and she said 'What? I can't resist ice-cream'

"Hello~" Lily said in a singing tone "Earth to Mr...umm...Levi"

"What?!" I groaned.

"I'm done eating ice-cream and I'm full, so can I eat my burger later?" she said.

I exhaled loudly "Fine"

"Yay!" she said, putting her burger in her little bag she brought along with her.

As soon as I finished my burger I stood up from my chair and threw all the litter away.

"Come on we're going" I said.

She hopped off the chair and followed me out the cafeteria. I lifted Lily up and set her on the passenger seat, strapping belt carefully around her belly.

"Why do we always have put these around?" she asked, trying to remove them.

"Don't remove it, its to prevent you from getting hurt." I said and then slammed the door of the passenger seat. I then seated on mine and closed the door and drove away.

"Do you want to go for the movies?" I asked.

"You mean cinema?" she asked, turning to meet my face.

"Yes" I said.

"yes I want to!" she said, enthusiastically.

Guess I'm getting used to her enthusiasm...

I pulled into the parking lot and looked up the cinema from my car. "Wanna go outside?" I asked teasingly.

"Yes! Its so huge and bright!" she jumped excitedly. I smirked and stepped out of the car. I unstrapped the belts around and she hopped out.

"Come on, come on, lets go!" she said.

"Yes, I'm coming!" I groaned, checking the door lock.

We then walked in, greeted by bright lights, soft music and many people around. "Wow" Lily said, looking up in amazement. I looked up and saw amazing light works.

"Nice" I mumbled, with blank expression.

"Which movie do you want to watch?" I asked.

She chose an animated movie and we took our tickets. I bought some popcorns for her. We both sat together but unfortunately, Lily sat over my lap.

"Why are you sitting here?" I groaned.

"Because I don't like that boy" she whined.

I sighed, pinching my nose bridge. "Fine" 

There was a daughter and mother scene in the end, which reminded Lily of (Y/n), so she started crying. I took her away from the movie Room and took her to the restroom. I set her on  the slab.

"Hey, stop crying already" I said.

"I want mommy" she sobbed.

"Kid, stop crying already" I said.

"Does mommy hate me?" she asked, still shedding her tears.

"No, she loves you" I said, wiping her tears away.

"Then why isn't mommy coming to take me?"

"Because she can't" I said. "Now stop, or else other kids will think you got a slap because you were being naughty."

"Okay" she muttered.

"Good" I washed her face and then dried it.

"you feeling okay now?" I asked

"Yes" she said.

I took her back in hotel and she had been upset the whole day. So I decided to put Tom and jerry on my  laptop and it really helped. She was laughing. She at ate her burger as well.

Hanji and Erwin returned safely. But the most unfortunate thing was, when Hanji asked Lily to come with her, Lily said she wanted to stay with me from now on. And this caused very unusual happiness in me.

"Can I ask you a question?" Lily asked, about to fall asleep.

"Hmm"

"Can you be my daddy? Someone nice and who won't yell at mommy or beat her and won't take me away from her?" she asked, sadness in her eyes.

"Sleep" I said turning opposite side.
Sadness rose in me as I tried subsidize the thought.

I will Lily... I will.

Soon I heard her soft snores. I turned back to face her and kissed her forehead. And I laid back, drowning slowly into sleep.
