Chapter 23:-

Levi

"Did find anything?" I asked.

"Yeah" Erwin said, Lily sitting on his leg, playing with her doll. "Her parents are held hostages in a cabin."

"Do you know where it's located?" I asked.

"Yes, they were made to shift in Australia" Hanji answered.

"Yes, but do you know where it's located in Australia?"

"Yes, so me and Hanji are leaving in two days, while you take care of Lily and (Y/n)" Erwin explained.

"Fine"

After few minutes, Hanji and Erwin left, leaving me and Lily alone together.

"London bridges falling down, falling down, falling down, my fair lady!" Lily sang, pronouncing some words wrong which was kinda cute, specially her four year old voice.

"Can you fix this doll for me? I accidents broke it" she said.

I sighed and took the doll and fixed its leg.

"Thank you!"

I sat on my bed and opened my e-mail. I saw (Y/n)'s e-mail. I clicked on it and her message popped on the screen.

Dear Levi,

How are you? I miss you so much especially Lily. I hope she's not causing headache, as a matter of fact, she talks a lot. Haha, I know what you're thinking.

I wanted to tell you, I somehow escaped Vick but I don't know how long I'll remain this way. I'm sure Vick's going to catch me.

I hope everything's okay here. And thank you for working so hard for me. And I'm sorry if it's a burden on you.

P.s: I love you

A smirk played over my lips. I decided to text her back.

Dear (Y/n),

Don't worry, we're fine. Lilys no headache to me, instead she's cute and loves singing London bridges falling down.

And it's no burden helping  you and your parents. Don't discourage us from doing good.

P.s: I love you more than you think and miss you very much. Lily cries a lot when she thinks of you.

I clicked send and shut the laptop.

"Can we go out today?" Lily asked.

"Fine" I said with a huge sigh.

"yay!" she said, running to the cupboard. She took her cloths out and went to the restroom.

We went in my car and arrived at a park. I pulled into parking lot and stepped out of the car. I locked it and went to the park with Lily's small hand in mine.

"A unicorn!" she yelled in excitement. "You have to get me that!" she said, pointing it.

I sighed and walked to the shop owner. "How much for that unicorn?"

"20 dollars" he said. I paid him and he gave Lily her unicorn.

She gasped, "Thank you, thank you. You're the best daddy ever!" she said, hugging my legs.

Father already?...

A smile played on my lips but soon disappeared as soon as I saw Vick standing in front of us. Lily got behind my legs, scared and shivering.

"Don't you know, that stealing someone's wife and daughter is not good" he said with a strange smirk on his face.

I ignored him and tightly grabbed Lily's hand and walked the other way.

"Or maybe your mother was too dumb to tell you that" Vick said and I stopped walking as anger boiled in me. I swiftly turned and punched him. He fell on floor and stood back up.

"You needed more than that ya' know" he said, wiping his spit from the back of his hand.

"Let's get out of here...please" Lily said, tugging on my pant.

"Lily come to daddy" Vick said, with a sick twisted smile.

"No! You're a monster! I hate you! You always beat mommy!" Lily yelled.

"You don't speak to daddy that way, now do you?" Vick said.

"You're not my daddy, he is!" Lily said pointing to me.

Vick took out something I didn't expect and failed miserably...lost Lily.
