Chapter 25:-

Levi

My eyes fluttered open and realized I was on bed, shirtless. I was in hospital. Some equipments were attached to me. A drip was provided with blood in it and it was injecting to me. A heart rate detecter as well.

I still remember Lily taken away from me. Vick had shot me with gun over my shoulder. And I ended up with this fucking bandage.

It hurts when I tried moving. But soon I heard a female gasp. "Doctor he's awake!" a nurse said.

Then soon a broad man walked in with his clipboard in his hand. "How are you feeling Mr. Ackerman?" the doctor asked.

"Shitfull" I answered annoyed.

"I see" the doctor said, checking the drip.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"One night actually" he said. "Kinda unusual"

I sighed in despair of losing Lily. A pain I never felt before. I let      (Y/n) down. Just by thinking of her, she has changed me a lot. She gave me emotions for people, she showed me love, that I lost so long ago.

"Can you leave me alone?" I asked, annoyed or sad... I don't know.

"Yes, sure" he said after staring at me for few seconds.

This is the first time I feel like shedding my tears. I don't know how long its been since I last cried.

Then something clicked in my head. I have put Lily's locator in her necklace.

But the only doubt is, will Vick let Lily live or kill her?

Once again a guilt and worrisome rose in me. I tried sitting but grunted and fell back in pain.

My back and shoulder ached. I couldn't do anything but lie here in despair.

A knock was heard on the door and I turned to the door. Hanji and Erwin stood by the doorway with worried faces.

"Why are you here?" I asked, my voice weak.

"We wanted to see you" Erwin replied.

"Come in" I said, staring at the ceiling blankly.

"We found you yesterday night at the ground. You were bleeding severely and Lily was gone. So we called the ambulance and took you the hospital. We even reported of Lily's kidnapping."

"So what now?" I asked.

"Well... The police are tracking her." Hanji said.

"Tracking her?!" I asked angrily "What if they find her dead?"

"They won't. Trust me" Erwin said.

"How are you so sure?" I asked abruptly.

"Because Vick won't be doing such thing. He doesn't have a mental ability to kill" Erwin said.

"Especially his daughter" Hanji said.

I sighed again.
