Chapter 10:-

4 years later...

"Mommy!" your  4 year old daughter ran towards you, her face all too cheered up. You carried her in your arms and she gave you a huge peck on your cheek.

"How was your school, Lilly?" You said, returning her the kiss.

"It was awesome! We painted different pictures, then we tested different types of sound from different type of material like.... ummm.... glass, metal and plastic"

"Well that seems like a fun day to me" you walked to your new apartment.

You talked to Levi everyday, of course when Vick was in his new office. You told Levi about your daughter Lilly's words and how she pronounces new words, her funny moments and your daily life. With that, you knew you were never going to be separated from Levi. It made you feel like he was just beside you, always comforting you.

You loved you daughter as much as you did to Levi, she was the only one keeping you sane right now.

"Is pancake okay for your lunch baby?" you asked.

"Yes!" She ran around the room. "I love pancakes!"

You giggled at her, "okay, now sit down and watch TV while I make you your pancakes"

"Okay mommy" she said, sitting down on sofa. She was very cute and adorable, wearing her pink frok and pretending to be a princess.

'She just love princesses doesn't she" you chuckled over your thought.

15 minutes passed by, your pancakes weren't ready yet.

"Mommy... I'm hungry~" Lilly whinned.

"Just two more minutes, okay sweet heart?"

"O.kay" she said popping out the words.

"That's my girl"

You flipped the pancake on the plate and added a little bit of honey on it. You brought the plate to Lilly and started feeding her by the spoon. You wiped the honey off from her bottom lip using your thumb and licked your thumb.

While you were feeding her, you heard a doorbell.

"Daddy's home!" Lilly exclaimed in ecxitement. She ran to the door. You kept the plate on a small table, across you. You walked to door and unlocked it.

"Welcome home" you said, your voice faint as ever.

"Thanks" he entered and closed the door behind him. Lilly locked the door while you removed his coat and took his laptop bag and kept it on the sofa nearby.

"How was your day at work?" You asked.

"It was stressful" he answered "what about you two?"

"It was great" you said "well, Lu had an intresting day"

"Yeah daddy I had a lot of fun today at school"

"Really what did you do?" Vick patted on an empty space on sofa asking Lilly to sit beside. Lilly went and sat with him.

Lilly started  telling him the events she had today at school while you went to kitchen to get cold water for Vick. You came back to Vick with a glass of water in your hand.

"Thanks" Vick said taking the water from your hand.

"What would you like for dinner tonight?" You asked, wiping your wet hand from few tissues.

"I told you honey, make anything you'd like" he said ''but you don't have to cook today, we're going out for dinner, my salary just got increased today"

"Congratulations" you let out a fake laugh. "Are we going to take Lilly with us?"

"Yeah we are" he answered.

"Get ready at 7" he said, keeping his empty glass over the same small table. He then walked into his room and into the restroom.

"Mommy what's salary?"

"Something that does not relate to you" you answered and carried her into her room and laid her down on her bed. You covered her with the blanket and closed the curtains and lights.

"Mommy can you stay?"  She said.

"Okay" you leaned in and kissed her forehead.

'She is the only person I have left, I cannot let Vick lay a hand on her, and if he does, it'll be the last time he'll see me. I have Levi at my side'
