There was a quick knock on my door but before I could say anything the door flew open. My little brother, Dustin, stood in the doorway.

"What is the point of knocking if you're not gonna wait for me to say come in?" I asked, glaring at him.

"Okay first of all, if you're going to say I can come in anyway then I don't know why it matters. Second of all you need a warning before you are blessed with my precence." He defended as he walked over and sat on the edge of my bed.

"Oh yeah cause that's what seeing you is, a blessing." I muttered sarcastically. Dustin had his hand over his heart and his jaw dropped, feigning offense. God, he can be dramatic sometimes.

"Anyway what did you want?" I asked, still very tempted to beat him with a pillow. "Oh yeah, so ya know how we're gonna have the house to ourselves for the next few days?"

I nodded in response. "Well I invited Mike, Lucas, and Eddie over to hangout for a while." he said with a hopeful smile.

"How long is 'a while' and when will the weirdos get here?" I asked, sighing in defeat. "Just because we like playing a fantasy game doesn't mean we are weirdos." He defended.

"I'm not talking about that, you know I love DnD. But have you met yourself? You've been weird since you were born. And I'm not even gonna get started on Mike and Lucas." I remarked.

"I'm not gonna take that personally. They'll be here until tommorow afternoon and they should be here around..." he looked down at his watch and at the same time the doorbell rang.

"Now?" I said, rasing a brow expectantly. Dustin quickly got up and ran to the front door, forgetting to shut mine in the process. I scoffed and figured I'd wait for him to walk past and make him close it.

"Heyyy, how's my favorite sibling doing?" Dustin said, walking into my bedroom, once again without me telling him he could.

"Seriously Dustin? What do you want this time, you've already destroyed any chance I had at peace and quiet for the day." I complained, sitting up in bed and glaring at him.

"Well I've just realized a small..problem with the sleeping arrangments. So it turns out, there isn't enough space in my room for all of us to sleep. So I was wondering if Munson could maybe sleep in here...?"

"Wait wait wait, Munson? As in like Eddie Munson. As in the hot weirdo kid who should've graduated with me but didn't????" I was now very interested in this favor for my brother.

Don't get me wrong, even though Eddie is hot and all I never actually talked to him, ever. It was just a lot of staring from across the cafeteria. I don't actually think he ever realized I existed and as that thought dawned on me my exitement faded.

"Yeah thats him but ew dude," Dustin answered, scrunching up his nose in disgust. I stuck my tounge out at him in response. "Yeah he can sleep in here though i guess. Just give me a minute to change into pjs and set up the air mattress." I agreed, and then happily kicked Dustin out of my room since it started to smell like freshman in here.

I shut my door after he left and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a cropped band t-shirt. After setting up the air mattress and oh so generously placing a pillow and blanket on it I left for Dustin's room.

There wasn't much of the floor I could see. The beds that were set up for Mike and Lucas took up the entire room. "Hey i got the mattress set up." I said to Dustin causing all of their heads to turn and look at me standing in the doorway.
