*Knock Knock Knock*

I knocked at Elizabeth's door, but I couldn't find her in the dining room, pool, game room, or storage, so she must be in her dorm. Yet she isn't responding...

"Hey, Elizabeth, are you there?" I kept knocking at her door to no avail.

"Come on, I just want to thank you for helping me out. You're a real lifesaver." I kept speaking. Something didn't happen to her, right?

"If you don't give any signs of life, I will have Jasper open your door." I half-joked.

"Go away." She finally responded. I gave a sigh of relief.

"I don't really feel like it. It's been around two weeks, and I still know nothing about you. I feel that after you saved my life, I at least need to try to get to know you." I continued.

"If you want to thank me, then never talk to me again," Elizabeth replied coldly.

"What did I do?" I sat at the front of her door and set down my crutches. But there was no response.

"It's not like you're not social. You hang out with Matt regularly." I continued.

"I told you to go away," Elizabeth clearly not wanting to conversate.

"I told you I didn't feel like it," I chuckled.

"You're annoying," She seemed closer to the door as her voice became more evident.

"I know," I replied. I waited for a minute before talking again.

"Matt said something interesting to me before the last trial, and It's been on the back of my mind since. When talking about you, he said something like, "She doesn't really trust you. Or perhaps she doesn't like how trusted you are. So she hasn't opened up to you yet." And when I asked if you've told him that, he replied rather vaguely. So tell me, do you trust me?"

"No," She responded quickly.

"Is that so? That's a shame, I might be a shady detective, but I'm trying my best to find out the truth."

"Doesn't seem like it if you're wasting your time talking to me," Elizabeth commented.

"Getting to know you might be key to finding out the truth. This game is about the players, after all."

"How would knowing me help find the truth?" Elizabeth scoffed.

"Well, I guess you wouldn't know about this, but I have a connection to most of the participants here. Memories came back to me like the one with Matt. Apparently, I knew Angel and Willow before this game, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had a connection with you as well." I decided to tell her the truth.

"That just makes me more suspicious of you," Elizabeth responded.

"Yeah, I'm not convinced that I trust myself either, but I know nothing will happen if I don't reach for the truth."

"You're a fool. How do you expect me to trust you when you don't trust yourself?" Elizabeth seems to find my comment humorous.

"I guess my request is a bit much when you put it that way." I laughed.

"Enough about me, how about you? What's your story. How do you know how to help me when I was injured?" I curiously asked. There was a long pause.

"Before that, could you answer something?" Elizabeth changed the topic.

"What is it?"

"Have you ever heard of a small terrorist group called "The Machina"?" Elizabeth suddenly asked.
