"Good morning, sleepyhead." A malicious voice spoke. I quickly opened my weary eyes to see Jasper's void black eyes shining back at me.
"Move any closer, and I'll shoot," at a rapid pace, I pulled out the gun I had under my covers and placed it square between Jasper's eyes.
"Do it then." He closed his eyes with a menacing grin. I leaned to the right to see my door wide open. The bastard must have snuck in when I passed out from exhaustion...
I pushed on his forehead with enough force to make him stumble back a bit.
"looks like the lack of food is getting to me too, huh?" He rubbed his head.
"What the hell do you want, Jasper?" I continued to have the gun trained on him. He tilted his head.
"Like I said yesterday, I want to know your plans. Leo kinda interrupted us last time," he chuckled to himself.
"Like hell I will tell you, get out of my room." I scoffed.
"Your room?" Jasper smirked as he pulled out the same remote he had the other day. With a click of a button, a Gatling gun dropped from the ceiling of my room. I gritted my teeth as he leaned back on my door to shut it.
"I want to know your plans, kay?" His eyes were a deep black. He's serious about this...
"What are you going to do? Kill me? We both know we can't kill each other yet." I scoffed.
"True, but that doesn't mean a certain someone can't die instead." He placed his hands behind his back with a mischievous grin.
"Who are you talking about?" I clamped up as he spoke.
"Isn't there someone you haven't seen in a while? Have you ever wondered where they might be?" Jasper winked.
"Angel?... What the hell did you do to her!?" I yelled out with my finger on the trigger.
"So the demon does have a heart. Or maybe you're just acting. Who knows." Jasper yawned. Am I the demon? Have you looked in a mirror!?
"Answer the damn question!?" I clicked the hammer of the revolver.
"Shooting me means mutual destruction. Let's be civilized here." Jasper replied with brown and grey eyes. But I didn't budge.
"If you tell me what's going on inside of that head of yours, I'll tell you where you're pawn is." Jasper leaned up against the door, fidgeting with the remote control.
"You say that like I know what the hell you're expecting me to say. How do I even answer that question?" I snarked back.
"Sorry, sorry, I'm not as good as you regarding interrogations. I guess first things first, how do you see everyone who is currently alive? Be thorough, kay?" Jasper.
"God damn you...." I took a deep breath, lowered my gun, and got out of bed. Sitting on the chair by a desk I have never used, I began.
"I'll admit, you've put me in check here. So I'll answer, but be prepared to pay for it later... I'll start with Angel. I see her as my main confidant in this game of yours. Someone I can use to the fullest. She's lost everything, making her the perfect person to use." I clenched my fist.
"Rather harsh hearing that directly, but I can't blame you. I did the same with Claire." Jasper shrugged.
"Alex is no longer a threat in my head. Whether he kills or not is up to him. But it seems that he won't do anything until everyone starves to death." My vision started to blur with frustration. Why don't I kill the rat? Losing Angel might be worth the sacrifice... No... What the hell am I thinking? What happened to my sense of justice...
