Chapter Seventeen: Snow Day

~Sadie's POV~

Jack and Toby walked out, glaring at each other. Elizabeth was telling me all the fun times she had with Jack, so I couldn't exactly say anything.

Jack opened the front door, and before closing it behind him, he winked at me and said,

"See you sugar pop."

Toby slammed the door in Jack's face and sighed with heavy relief.

"Is something wrong Toby?" I set Beth down next to Gryphon; He started licking and playing with her.

"Nothing Sadie. Don't worry about it." He smiled at me, and I smiled right back.

"Okay, what do you want to do today?"

"Whatever I guess.." I just twiddled my thumbs and sat there, looking at the floor. I tried to kiss him and he acted like it was nothing. I sighed and said, "whatever you want to do today Tobs is fine with me."

Toby got that big smile on his face and clapped his hands together.

"Get dressed then, because we are going to Hollywood."

"Wha??!!" I got up, jumping for joy. "Hollywood?! Really?!" I jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly. "Oh thank you thank you thank you!" I ran to his room, where my luggage was, and pulled out the nicest casual thing I could find.

I walked out of his room with a ponytail, a slim fit plain black shirt, and red skinny jeans. I had on white hightop converse too.

"Darkness then Redness then Whiteness!" He laughed and I looked down, blushing.

"It looks good Sadie. It looks awesome actually." He linked our arms together, leading us two out the door and on our way to Hollywood.

~Toby's POV~

We did everything. Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, The Hollywood Wax museum, and we ate at Mirabelle's, the second most expensive place in Hollywood.

"Woah Toby. You spent a lot of money, let me pay for the bill." She handed me a $50 and I shook my head.

"It's my treat Sadie." She smiled a little and put it away.

"Now time for the final surprise." I lead her to my car, driving to the El Capitan Theatre.

"Wow! I heard of how cool it is but this?! Wow..." She was practically drooling.

"We had two VIPs to Mulan." I told the guy at the booth.

"Name?"

"Toby Turner and Sadie Thompson."

"Right through the left door." He handed us our tickets and we walked through.

"Wow Toby.. Did I ever tell you how awesome you are?"

"No.." My heart sped up a bit. How awesome was I?

"Well you're pretty frikin amazing and I wanted you to know that.. You're one of the best guys on this whole planet."

"Even past Jack?"

She looked at me for a moment, and we stopped in the middle of hallway, staring at each other.

"Jack's a different story. You're the one I've watched since 2006. And if I had to get paid one million dollars to kiss either you or him... I'd go with you." Her voice cracked on the last part, and she looked down, face red.

"Well then. That's good to know. Come on, lets go watch the movie."

~Sadie's POV~

The movie was great. Popcorn was awesome like always. I kept looking at Toby during the movie and he caught me looking once. He caught my stare and smiled, putting his hand on top of mine. There was a jolt that ran up my arm and down my spine. I shivered.
