~Toby's POV~
"Oh my God!" I ran toward her, so excited to see her. She blended in with the snow almost and she looked like she had been crying, or still was.
Sadie was siting in a crumpled heap, and when she saw me running toward her, she looked almost scared. She backed up in the snow bank and put her hands around her chest.
"Sadie?" I slowed down and out my arms out. "Sadie what's wrong?" She looked at me for a bit before finally getting up and running toward me, throwing herself in my arms. I clutched her tightly, never wanting to let her go.
"Oh Toby!" She gulped and full on cried in my shoulder. "Oh I was so worried you wouldn't talk to me again!"
"Why would I not talk to you again?" I held her arms length away from me to inspect her. Her eyes were big, wet, and bright red. Sadie's body looked like a crumpled heap.
"I.. I told Jack something and I thought he told you. I thought it was him coming out to tease me."
"What'd you tell him?"
"I don't want to tell you. It's not an issue."
"Well you're acting like it is."
"Toby Joe Turner. I don't want to talk about it."
"Okay then." I just held her in my arms for a moment before I just looked at her.
"Whatever Jack told you isn't true. You know that."
"Wait... You.. You like me?"
"Wait. What?"
"He said you didn't like me."
"Well of course I like you!"
"More than a friend?" She looked up at me, her eyes bright with what looked like hope.
"Ummm....."
"It's fine if you don't really." Sadie tried to pull out of my at arms, but I held her closer, tighter.
"Sadie. It's more than a like."
"What?" She turned to face me, looking deep into my eyes. I couldn't hold it any longer.
"I've loved you since I freaked you out putting my hand against the window of my car."
"That was you?!" She laughed and then went serious. "Jack told me.."
"Don't listen to what Jack says. Will.. Will you be my.."
"Buscus? I will be your buscus." She kissed my nose and she pulled me into the snow bank.
