Finally, days have went by. The conference is tomorrow, on Friday. Luckily, I'm almost done with the project. I didn't end up finishing the it that night I came home because my eyes ended up feeling gluey so I fell asleep. I'm standing in the cafeteria waiting for my coffee as well as Mr Banks coffee. Duty calls. I ended up getting a message from and unknown number which I answered.

Oh yikes, I forgot about this guy. He messages me now? It's been days since he got my number and he's just messaged me? I decided to reply to him again before I walk into the office, holding Mr Banks coffee.

YOU - Hi. I'm sorry I didn't have your number so I was quite confused.

CALEB - It's okay, it doesn't bother me. How are you?

I'll reply to him later as I was now standing in front of Mr Banks office. I put my phone away and knock, waiting for his response to letting me in. I wait a few seconds, feeling quite awkward considering I'm standing at the door with two coffees in my hands. Until finally, he spoke.
I step forwards into Mr Banks office after getting permission to enter. "Good morning. Here is your coffee Mr Banks." I say giving it to him with a smile. "You know you don't have to knock, you can just come in." Mr Banks says with a smile on his face. Then his smile fades away. "How's the project going, Miss Murray?" He asked me, grabbing the coffee from my hands. I still cringe when he calls me that, it's ridiculous. "It's almost ready, just a few things that needs to be done but it's pretty much rea-"
"It's just one simple answer, Miss Murray. One simple answer." He says cutting me off with a smirk.
"I will send it out to you once I'm finished." I continued, stunned as he had cut me off. "Are you ready for the conference tomorrow, Miss Murray?" He questioned.
"I'm...I'm going with you? To the conference? I didn't think I had to." I said. "You're my assistant. You have to be there with me at all times. Important meetings, all of it. Do you not know anything about this role? Because if not then you might as well quit right here and now, Miss Murray."
"Oh no, I-I do know I j-"
"Be here with my coffee at 8:00am." He mentioned after he cut me off. "I can't do that." I say.
"Why not?" He asked confused. "Mr Banks, I live way to far from here an-and every morning I wake up early to take a bus here to work, I won't make it on time." I explained.
"Then you wouldn't mind waking up earlier." He said, tilting his head with a smile. A smile that makes you wanna grab him from the back of the noggin and smash his head against his desk.
I stood there in silence, not knowing what else to say. Is he trying to torture me? "See you tomorrow morning." I say, then turned around and walked out the office. Now heading towards mine. This mother fucker really be making me wanna commit a crime. I'm starting to think that he isn't just a mean person but really hates me.
I finally sat down, turned on my PC and had everything ready. I grabbed out my phone remembering Caleb. I decided to quickly answer him whilst my PC turns on.
