"Great if that was all your questions about my night and my mother, I'll be leaving." I sat in an annoyed defeat as Snow seems to be finished questioning me.

"Not yet, I have some questions about life in the Enchanted Forest." Snow says. "Were you on the battlefield when my kingdom was fighting Regina?"

"And how does this relate to Archie's murder?" I say in an annoyed tone while hoping that my powers aren't showing how nervous I am for these questions.

"It isn't. I just want to know." Snow says nonchalantly while looking me in the eye.

I sigh and break eye contact with her after a long moment. "I was. Now can I go since this clearly isn't about catching a murderer anymore?"

"Why did you ask me what happened?"

"What?" I say trying to play dumb.

"When you came to the loft. Why did you ask me what happened?" She says slightly confused.

"I was curious what happened after the battle for you and Charming." I say while shrugging.

"That was years ago and you never care about my opinion or my experiences. Why did you care that day?" She says in realization.

"I don't have to answer this. Give me my bracelet, I'm leaving."I say while standing up and holding out my hand for the bracelet.

"No, tell me first." She says and I start to walk past her.

I turn around and realize how important that bracelet is. It's the key to keeping me contained. I sigh and sit back down.

"I randomly remembered the battle and wanted to know what you thought of it." I say and Snow looks at me as if she's trying to tell if I'm lying.

"Still doesn't make sense. You don't care about my opinion." She says as if she doesn't believe me.

"Well I did that day." I say harsher than I meant to. "I wanted to know if you thought worse of me after the battle." I say in a much softer voice than before. "I didn't kill anyone that day and... I wanted to make sure you knew that." I don't look at her for a minute and then my confidence returns. "Now can I go?" She looks at me with a soft expression and hands me my bracelet.

I walk out and Emma follows me out of the sheriff station. I see mother is in her car and once she sees me relief washes over her face.

"Quartz!" I hear Emma call out behind me. I was really hoping I could pretend that I didn't know she was behind me. I turn around with an annoyed look on my face.

"What did you tell Mary-Margret?"

"Huh you guys really left the mic off, I'm shocked." I say realizing that I don't have to tell her about why I asked about the battle. "She asked me about Archie and I answered her questions."

"Yeah um....."

"Are we done here Sheriff Swan?" I say still angry about how she treated me in interrogation.

She sighs. "I'm sorry for how I treated you in there."

"Oh you mean the treating me like a criminal and only using my full name? I barely noticed." I say the sarcasm evident in my tone.

"I deserve that, I was a bitch. How can I make it up to you?" She says and I take time to think for a moment.

"You owe me dinner." I say finally and Emma is slightly shocked.

"Dinner it is then." She says with a huge smile on her face.

I start to close the gap between us and place my hands on her hips. Her cheeks turn a red hue and her breath hitches as I move toward her ear. "I look forward to it." I whisper before I move back and take my hands off her hips.
