My Fault

After everything at Gold's shop, we went our separate ways. Well I went my separate way from everyone else. The Charming's were in shock when they saw what I did, the only people seeming to understand why I would do it being Snow and Neal.

I just wanted to fix things.

That's a lie. That's what I wanted in the beginning. I wanted to fix everything I messed up. Then I got too caught up and I wanted revenge. Now everything is worse off then when we started. Well, I'm worse off then when I started. I'm sure everyone is out celebrating while my mother is crying over the loss of hers.

My thoughts are interrupted by a knock on my front door. I jump at the sound but I don't move from my spot on the floor, my back against the door with my legs securely pulled to my chest.

"Quartz?" I hear Emma's muffled voice through the door. "Are you in there?" She asks and I don't answer, I can't answer. "If you are, Mary-Margret...she made some pancakes...if you want to come over." She says and the thought of eating right now makes me sick. "Please be okay." She whispers, a sentence I wouldn't have heard from anywhere else in the apartment. I wish I could complete her request but I can't.

I'm not okay. I'm something I hate being. A killer.

I'm not sure how long it's been since Emma came by but I know that I'm in the same spot. Why would I move? What's worth moving for?

"Um...Rose? Are you in there?" I hear Archie say from the other side of the door. They sent the shrink after me.

"Yes, Archie...what is it?" I say and instantly regret responding to him in anyway.

"I was thinking that we should continue our sessions. I-I haven't seen you since you graduated high school." He says and I sigh.

"And I haven't needed sessions since high school." I say and rest my head on my knees.

"Have you eaten today?" He asks and I raise my head up in annoyance.

"Yes, Archie, I've eaten today." I have not eaten today. I don't think I can.

"Quartz open the door!" I hear Emma says. Fuck I didn't know she was with Archie. I use my magic to change my outfit and make my kitchen look like I had cooked something.

"I don't need therapy." I say once I open the door and lean on the doorway to show that they aren't welcome.

"Why didn't you answer when I came by?" Emma asks and I skillfully hide the surprise her question has caused.

"When did you come by?" I ask hoping to get a gauge of how much time has passed.

"Five hours ago." Five hours? Damn okay.

"I was here but I guess I just wasn't available." I say truthfully to avoid her lie detecting skills.

"What were you doing?"

"Nothing important."

"Want to be more specific?" She asks and I sigh.

"No not really, thanks for asking." I say and attempt to close the door but Emma sticks her foot in the doorway and walks into my apartment. "Yes, please come in, I definitely want guests right now." I say sarcastically.

"You cook?" Emma asks and I look at her in annoyance.

"Yes." I say plainly.

"You've eaten?"

"Yes." Technically true, I have eaten multiple times in my lifetime.

"Today?" She asks and I sigh.

"No I haven't been hungry." I say calmly.
