*Ella's POV*
I'm meeting Hunter's parents tonight and I'm freaking out. What if they hate me? What if they don't think I'm good enough for their son. Which quite frankly, I don't think I really am.
Hunter's picking me up at my apartment in less than ten minutes and then we're meeting his parents at some fancy restaurant.
After about five minutes of pacing around my living room there was a knock at my door. I smiled to myself and opened the door.
"Hi. You look beautiful," he said and then kissed my forehead.
"Well thank you. So do you," I smiled.
"Stop doing that!" He laughed.
"Why? You're purtyyy" I smiled, trying not to laugh.
"Whatever. Come on let's go," he took my hand at shut the apartment door.
"Hunter what if your parents don't like me?" I asked him.
"They will, I promise," he smiled.
"Yeah but what if they don't?" I asked again.
"Ella, stop. They are going to love you okay? And if they don't, I love you and that's all that matters." He told me.
"I love you," I smiled at him.
"I love you too," he looked down at me.
We got to his car and he opened my door then ran around to the drivers side.
He held my hand in his, and the other on the steering wheel. The car ride was silent, but comfortable until he spoke up.
"I hope you know that I've never done this before."
"Done what?" I asked.
"Loved someone as much as I love you," he said.
"That makes it more special then. Cause you're the first guy I ever loved at all," I smiled.
He smiled back at me and continued to drive in silent.
When we got to the restaurant he parked and opened my door and intertwined our fingers.
"Hey mom. Hey dad," Hunter said as we walked up to his parents.
"Hey, Hunter. Oh and you must be Ella. You're just as gorgeous as Hunter described. He talks about you all the time. One time-" His mom started talking.
"Okay mom that's enough," Hunter blushed.
"Hi I'm Leo. Nice to meet you," Hunter's dad hugged me and smiled
"Nice to meet you both," I smiled.
We went inside the restaurant and sat at a table. The whole night Hunter's parents were so nice. Lynette is the sweetest person I've ever met. I never really knew my mom so meeting her and seeing how sweet she was to me and Hunter was different.
After dinner, Hunter and I went back to his apartment.
"I told you my parents would love you," he told me as he opened the door.
"Well they never really said they loved me. So technically, I win,"
"Actually I won," he said, walking closer to me.
"Now what exactly do you think you won?" I asked with my hand on my hip.
"I won you," he said as he pulled me closer to him.
His lips gently brushed against mine. He then kissed me with force and pushed me up against the wall. His hands went under my shirt and rested on my hips.
"I love you," he said against my lips.
"I love you too, loser," I smiled and pulled back a little.
"Loser?" He said, pulling me into his chest.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and he kissed my forehead.
"Yeah, you're a loser," I smiled.
"But remember, I won you. So I'm a winner," he chuckled.
"Yeah but you already had everything you had ever wished for before you won me. I had nothing. So I'm the real winner," I looked at him.
"But I didn't have everything I had ever wished for," he said.
"How so?" I asked.
"I asked for you a long time ago," he smiled.
