I stood at the alter, anxiously waiting to see the love of my life. This moment was finally here and all I wanted to do was see her.
I was looking down at my feet as her brides maids and maid of honor walked down.
I shot my head up when I heard the song start playing.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at allI watched her walk down the aisle and I smiled at her.
Her dad passed her off to me and I held both of her hands, tears forming in our eyes.
We get to our vows and she repeats what the preacher says, her eyes never leaving mine.
I did the same and then she put the ringer on my finger and I put hers on her finger.
"You may now kiss the bride," The preacher says.
"I will," I grinned and everyone laughed before I did what I had wanted to do for a while.
Kiss my wife.
"I love you," I whispered as I pulled back and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"I love you too," she smiled at me through her tears.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the preacher says and everyone cheers and she smiles at me.
"I like hearing that," she whispers.
"Hearing what?" I asked her.
"Husband and wife," she grinned.
"Yeah I like the sound of that too," I smiled and grabbed her hand before walking out of the ceremony area.
We had the ceremony under a tent in the open field.
And the reception is in the old stables that we decorated just the way Ella wanted it.
We walked out of the tent and took pictures while our friends and family went to the old stables.
After that we headed to the reception, hand in hand.
There were lights hanging all around the inside of the stables and the tables had pink and blue table cloths on them with light decorations as the center piece.
We walked into the old stables and the DJ announced us.
"Please welcome, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Hayes!"
We walked in and smiled while everyone clapped and we walked to the dance floor for our first dance.
Ella and I had agreed that we would both pick a song.
She would pick the song she would walk down the aisle too, and I wouldn't know until she walked down the aisle.
And I would pick the song we would dance too and she wouldn't know until we started dancing.
The bar was empty
I was sweeping up the floor
That's when she walked in
I said, "I'm sorry but we're closed"
And she said "I know,
But I'm afraid I left my purse"
I said, "I put one back behind the bar
I bet it's probably yours"
And the next thing that I knew
There we were, lost in conversation
And before I handed her her purse
I said, "You'll only get this back on one condition"
