Today is my last day with Ella until I come back home from tour.
Two months.
We can do this right?
Yeah I'll try to believe that.
"Hunnner, stop moving your arm it hurts," she complained as soon as she woke up.
"How does it hurt?" I laughed at her.
"Cause your muscle. It hurts," she smiled at me and laid her head on my chest.
"So what do you wanna do today?" I asked her as I played with her hair.
"This," she whispered against my chest.
"Okie dokie. Movie?" I asked her as I sat up.
"Tangled?" She asked excitedly.
"Of course," I laughed and got up to put the dvd in.
We watched the movie, her stomach in my side and her head on my chest.
"I love you," I whispered.
"I love you too," she whispered back.
After the movie was over we got up and made breakfast.
Well, she made breakfast, while I cleaned up my attempt at breakfast.
"You're so cute," she said as she looked down at me on the floor.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," I chuckled.
"When you get back home, we get to plan the wedding," she smiled as I pulled her into my chest.
"Can't wait," I smiled at her.
"Can we go to Mars?" She asked, Mars being a new ice cream shop down the road that she absolutely loved.
"Yeah. Let me get dressed and then we can go," I said before running up the stairs.
When I walked back down stairs she was sitting on the couch playing with her phone.
"You ready to go?" I asked her.
"Yep," she said as she stood up and grabbed my hand.
We got in the car and I started driving as she turned on the radio.
"Hunter! Listen! That's you!" She giggled.
"Yeah. I hear," I smiled at her as she started singing along to wanted.
"I love your voice better in person," she whispered.
I turned down the radio and finished singing the song to her.
I finished the song and glanced at her.
She was smiling and she whispered, "I love you so much, Hunter."
"I love you so much more," I whispered back.
I knew she was about to start busting out laughing.
And she did.
She laughed for a good five minutes.
"It's so cute that you think that's possible," she said while laughing.
I just smiled at her, because she looked so beautiful.
I didn't understand why she was so beautiful.
We got to the ice cream shop and I ran around to her side and opened her door.
She got out and grabbed my hand and we walked inside.
"What can I get for you?" The man working asked us.
"Small super man ice cream, please," she smiled.
"And for you?"
"Uhm small chocolate please."
We got our ice cream and I payed and we walked outside and sat at one of the tables.
"So what are you-" she was cut off by my phone ringing.
I sighed and got up and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hello? Is this Hunter Hayes?"
"This is he,"
"Great. Okay, Hunter, Dann needs you at the studio as soon as possible. He said you can bring Ella if she's with you," the man who's voice did not sound familiar said.
"Okay thank you. I'm on my way," I hung up and walked back to Ella.
"Ella, we have to go. Dann- you have ice cream all over your face," I laughed at her.
"Help me. I'm like a three year old begging to get out of this twenty year old body," she smiled at me.
I helped her wipe her face off and told her we needed to get to the studio.
I knew what this was about.
I knew exactly what they wanted.
But honestly, I didn't wanna hear it.
So I pulled on the side of the road and just broke down into tears.
