"Hey, El," he smiled as I pressed answer when he Skyped me.
"Hey, Hunt," I smiled back at him.
"What's up?" He asked me.
"Nothing much," I said.
"But I do have a question," I smiled.
"Okay shoot," he said.
"So how do you feel about kids?" I asked him, feeling so evil.
"Well I want them with you, you know that," he chuckled.
"Yeah but when?" I asked him.
"Uhm I don't kn- wait. Oh my god are you?" His eyes widened.
"No I just wanted to know if we could get a dog when you get home," I tried so hard not to laugh.
"Aw man," he laughed.
"No baby. Right now. But really can I have a dog?" I smiled.
"That was so mean. I got really excited for a minute," he smirked.
"Aw that's so sweet. One day," I smiled at him.
"So back to that puppy," he chuckled.
"Yeah. I want one!" I laughed.
"Okay okay I get it what kind?" He laughed at me.
"Cocker spaniel. Girl. Named Charleigh. She's 5 weeks old and we can pick her up on Tuesday, two days after you get home. And she'll be 6 weeks old at that point," I sarcastically smiled at him.
"You're adorable," he shook his head at me.
"Yeah I know. Do you wanna see a pic of the puppy?" I asked him.
"So what time?" He asked me.
"Huh?" I gave him a confused look.
"What time?" He asked again.
"What time for what?" I asked.
"What time do we pick up Charleigh?" He said in a duh tone.
"Oh my god. Really?" I asked him.
"Yes really," he chuckled.
"Oh my god. Okay uhm two in the afternoon. It's just down the road. It's a breeders house. I already went to see her," I laughed.
"Of course you did," he smiled at me.
We talked for about an hour until he had to get to sound check.
"Bye El. Love you," he smiled.
"Bye Hunt. Love you too," I smiled before hanging up.
He comes home one week from today and now apparently we're getting a puppy.

"Hunter," I smiled before running to him standing in the yard and hugging him, almost knocking him down."Oh sorry," I laughed.
"I missed you so much," he whispered int shoulder.
"I missed you too," I whispered back.
He pulled back from our hug and kissed me.
"A month without that is the most terrible thing," he smiled.
"Definitely," I smiled back and wrapped my arms around his neck.
We walked inside and he ran upstairs and put his stuff up, then came back down and sat next to me on the couch.
"Hi," he smiled at me.
"Hi," I smiled and laid my head on his chest.
"Have you eaten dinner?" He asked me.
"No. I was waiting for you," I told him.
"Okay. Come on. I'm starving," he laughed and got up and grabbed my hand.
We walked outside to his car and he opened my door and then ran around to his side.
"So what do you want to eat?" He asked me.
"It doesn't matter. Just go somewhere," I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder before he drove off.
He drove to some little diner downtown that had like nobody inside.
We walked inside and ate real quick before walking around down town.
"I missed holding your hand," he whispered as we walked.
"Yeah. I missed holding yours too," I smiled up at him.
"So I found a place to get married," I smiled.
"Okay. Where?" He asked me.
"Remember that place with the empty open field where you took me to get Brodie?" I asked him.
"Yeah," he said.
"Well I talked to the owner. And they said we can get married in front of the old stables in the open field. And we can decorate the old stables for the reception because it's big enough to fit everybody since we agreed on a small wedding," I talked nervously.
"El-," he started but I cut him off.
"But we don't have to get married there. I mean it's not just my decision. You're getting married too. If you don't want to get married there we can agree on something else. I just thought it would be perfect since that was the place where our life together kind of fell in place," I looked down at the ground.
He lifted my chin up, getting my attention back on him.
"I love it, Ella," he smiled at me.
"Really? Because I wasn't sure if you would like it. And now I just realized that I talked so much that we kept walking and now I have no idea where we are so I should probably shut up now," I smiled nervously as we stopped walking.
"Yeah I have no idea where we are. But we never turned. So let's just turn around and walk back," he laughed as we turned around and started walking again.
"So we're gonna get married there?" I asked him.
"Yeah. I love that idea," he smiled.
"Good. Also I made save the date cards. I figured it was too early for invitations but I wanted everyone to know when we're getting married. But we'll send real invitations maybe like a month before the wedding," I continued to ramble.
"Ella?" He asked.
"Hmm?"
"Please stop talking. I love you but you gotta relax," he chuckled.
"You're probably right," I smiled at him.
"Everything will be perfect okay? We have eight months. We'll figure everything out. I promise," he smiled and pulled me closer to his side.
"Yeah. As long as you show up it'll be perfect," I laughed.
"Oh. Well darn. I was gonna go somewhere with the guys that night instead," he smirked.
"Okay fine. I'll just eat the cake and open the presents by myself. I have no problem with that," I grinned.
"I love you," he kissed the top of my head.
"I love you too."
"Speaking of love. We're getting the puppy Tuesday right?" He smiled.
"Yes!" I squealed.
He put his arm around my shoulder and whispered in my ear, "I bought her a collar with a bow."
