He walked right in with a huge smile on his face. Like it was permanently there. You could just look into his eyes and all you saw was pure happiness. I started to envy how happy he looked. Me being the one who sucks the oxygen out of every room I enter.
"Hi is there anything I can help you with today?" I asked the beautiful blonde, trying to sound at least a little happy.
"I'm just looking. But thank you."
He smiled so big at me. I don't know what happened to me but I felt like I actually needed love in my life.
"I'm Hunter, by the way," he spoke, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"I'm Ella," I whispered.
"That's a beautiful name. It's nice to meet you." He spoke so softly.
I tried to speak but no words came out. I was too busy getting lost in his eyes that I couldn't find the need to speak.
"Uhm. Oh yeah can I get these two?" he asked.
"Oh yeah. I'm sorry. I'll ring you up right over here."
"I know we just met, but do you wanna get coffee sometime?" He asked me, making my heart jump.
"Coffee is cool."
Really Ella? Coffee is cool? Wow okay.
"Uhm you were thinking out loud" he told me.
"Wow that's embarrassing," I laughed softly as he smiled at me.
"So Starbucks? Tomorrow at 12?" He asked as he grabbed his vinyls and started to walk towards the door.
"I would love that," I smiled at him.
"Great. See you then"
And just like that, I already felt caught. Like I was in the trap and couldn't get out. But I wasn't really sure if I wanted to get out.
