Harry's pov
Today is my first day at my new high school and I'm really nervous. Back at my old school I was bullied by all the popular kids just because I'm gay. I don't understand why though. I mean it's not hurting anyone so why bully me for it.
Mum said not to let it get to me and that I should just ignore them but honestly it was really hard considering they targeted me everyday. It was as if they made it their personal mission just to hunt me down like a lion hunts down its prey. All the things they said and did to me will always stay in my head and haunt me but hopefully I can forget about them all when I start in this school.
"Harry, are you almost done in there?" Mum shouted from the kitchen. "Almost!" I replied. "Alright. Come have breakfast once you're finished."
I finished getting ready and went downstairs to have breakfast with my mum and my older sister, Gemma.
"So, how are you feeling about going to a new school?" Mum asked me. "I'm a bit nervous if I'm being honest. What if I get bullied here at this school too?" I said. "Don't worry yourself about it, love. Everything will be alright, just think positive thoughts." "Alright"
That's the thing I love about my mum. She always finds a way to calm me down whenever I'm stressed. Without her, I don't know what I'd do.
After finishing my breakfast, I said goodbye to my mum and went to school with Gemma in her car. On the way, I kept thinking about how grateful I am to mother for moving us here to Doncaster after I was bullied so badly back in Cheshire, I started having panic attacks.
We arrived at my new high school, Doncaster High, and I got out of the car. Gemma drove off to uni and I was stuck here wondering how I would survive in this school all alone with no friends. I decided that I would keep my sexuality a secret to avoid the same situation that happened in my old school. I walked into the school and headed to my first class which was English.

A/N: This is my first story on Wattpad and I'm nervous about the feedback. I'm thinking about not even publishing it but then again who would read it. I know this chapter is short but hopefully the next chapters will be longer. Btw the chapters will be in Harry's pov unless I say otherwise.
