I woke up on Monday morning in a good mood. I've been with Louis for a few months now and it's been going great so far. I don't think I've ever been this happy in my life.
I showered and put on a plain white t-shirt and my black skinny jeans. I put a bandana on my head to keep my hair back since it was getting quite long now. I've thought about cutting it but people said it suits me so I kept it as it was.
I went downstairs to have breakfast with mum and Gemma and I found Gemma giggling at her phone. I saw that she was texting Niall. What could he have said that was so funny?
"Why are you always texting Niall. I know it was because of your Larry Stylinson theories back then but Louis and I are together now so what is there to talk about?" I asked.
"Is it so wrong to be talking to my brother's friend. I'm just trying to help you here Haz" she replied.
"So you're helping me by flirting with my friend" I said, sarcastically.
"No! And Louis is rubbing off on you. Soon you'll be sassing everyone you see"
"Alright but just know I haven't let this slide"
This wasn't the first time I found Gemma like this. The first time I did she made it so obvious she was lying you'd have to be stupid to believe her. But soon her lies started being more believable and I fell for some of them.
We finished eating and went outside. We got inside her car and I found a condom on the seat. "Why is this here? Have you been busy lately?" I winked.
"Mum bought a pack for me in case I decided to 'get more intimate with my partner'"
"I won't ask anymore questions for my own sake"
She started driving towards the school and after a bit of driving we arrived. I saw Louis waiting for me outside and I got out of the car. "Don't get pregnant tonight" I winked at Gemma. She rolled her eyes and drove away.
I walked to Louis and hugged him. "Hey love. What was that about?" He asked referring to what I said.
"Oh I found a condom in her car and it seems like she's dating someone" I replied.
"Oh okay"
"And I found her texting Niall and laughing"
"You know funny thing I've found Niall texting someone and laughing too"
"Hmm weird" I said before we walked inside.
We walked hand in hand to our lockers. We came out to the school a while ago and everyone was shocked to find out Louis was gay. The girls were disappointed to find out they didn't have a chance with him.
We reached our lockers and were met with Nick. He hadn't bothered me for quite a while and I guess that's why I've been happy.
"What's up fags" he spat.
"I'm not in the mood for this Nick. I get that you're still bitter I became friends with Niall but this is going too far" Louis said.
"You think that's why I'm doing this? Ha! I'm doing this for reasons other than that Louis"
"Can you please just leave. We'll deal with this some other time okay"
"How dare you tell me what to do. Don't you realise what you guys are doing is disgusting and it needs to stop"
And with that Louis punched him in the face. Nick fell to the ground, his hand gripping his face. He got up and hit Louis. Louis hit his face repeatedly and they ended up on the floor. He was on top of Nick and his hands were covered in blood. I tried to pull him off Nick but he resisted. I knew it was a bad idea telling Louis about Nick bullying me but I didn't think he would be like this. I've never seen this side of him before.
The principal came and broke them up. He called me, Louis and Nick to his office. We went inside and sat in the seats across his desk.
"I'm sure you all know why you're here" Mr Smith said.
We all nodded and he continued. "Can you please tell me what caused this fight?" He asked.
"He was being a bitch" Louis replied. I gave him a warning look and squeezed his thigh.
"Actually they were being fags and I'd had enough of it" Nick said.
"I don't approve of either of your choices in words and Mr Grimshaw, that doesn't give you the right to hurt them physically"
"I had to teach them a lesson and this was the only way they'd learn"
"Can't you fucking realise that we can't change how we are. Just let us live and love who we want instead of bothering us all the fucking time" Louis shouted.
"Louis" I warned.
"Mr Tomlinson, if you don't stop I'll have to deal with you"
Louis mumbled something in response.
"Now Mr Styles I would like to ask you something" he said looking at me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Is this the first time this kind of thing has happened or has Mr Grimshaw bullied you beforehand?"
I hesitated and replied reluctantly. "This has happened before. Nick has been bullying me since I transferred to this school. He would only bully me verbally but a few months ago he began hurting me physically"
"Ah interesting" he said to himself.
"Mr Grimshaw will be suspended for three weeks and Mr Tomlinson will be having detention tomorrow" he said after some silence.
"Three weeks!" Nick protested.
"Considering this has been happening repeatedly for several months it's the only solution better than expelling you. You are all dismissed"
"This isn't over fags" Nick muttered before leaving. Louis and I exited after him and Louis led me to his car.
"You know you shouldn't be skipping school since you just got in trouble" I said.
"I don't care. I just wanna be with you for the rest of the day" he replied.
"That's sweet Lou but why did you hurt him?"
"What kind of a question is that? He deserved it"
"I thought I specifically told you not to hurt him. But what did you do? You beat him up right in front of my eyes and continued even when I tried to stop you"
"Oh I'm sorry. Did you expect me to just let him insult us over and over again"
"I didn't ask for your sarcasm Louis. Just promise me that next time you won't hurt him"
"So what do you expect me to do? Talk to him?"
"Maybe or something else I don't know. Just don't hurt him"
"Alright"
"Do you promise you won't do it?"
"Yeah. Promise"
