Harry pov

A few weeks later, I was sitting in Louis' room with him. We had fixed things a while ago. It was the day of the funeral and he was currently considering not going.

"C'mon Louis, you have to go. Lottie would want you there" I tried to convince him.

"I don't know if I can do it Haz. It would hurt me to see her body being lowered into the ground" he replied.

"Then don't look when it happens. I'll be there with you"

"Thanks love. I'm really lucky to have you"

"You know I'll always be here for you Lou"

We went downstairs and walked outside to his car. We drove to the place where the funeral was meant to be held.

When we arrived, mum, Jay, Mark(Louis' stepfather), Gemma, Niall, Liam and Zayn were there waiting for us. We walked into the church and the memorial service began. Jay and Mark went up there and gave a speech and I thought Louis wasn't gonna go but I was wrong. He went and took a deep breathe before speaking.

"Hi um I'm Louis. So um I didn't prepare a speech because um... because to be honest I didn't think I'd be able to come up here at all. Instead, I'll be singing this song I wrote for Lottie after she passed away"

He went to the piano and hesitated before he started singing.

It's been a minute since I called you

Before the song even ended, Louis was already in tears. The song was so beautiful and had so much meaning. He sounded amazing too and Lottie was right. He should start singing again.

He came back to sit next to me and I wrapped my arms around him. I didn't realise I was in tears too until he wiped the water off of my cheeks. "That song was beautiful Lou" I said. He just nodded in response.

A few hours later

Louis and I were on his bed just laying there eating ice cream. This must have been how he grieved. "Haz?"

"Yeah Lou" I replied.

"Can we cuddle and like not say anything you know. Just lay in each other's arms"

"Of course we can love. There was no need to ask" I said already wrapping my arms around him. He came closer to me and lay his head on my chest, wrapping his arms around my body.

"I love you Harry"

"I love you too Lou"

We ended up falling asleep like that and only woke up four hours later. I woke up before Louis and just looked down at him sleeping. He still looked so beautiful even while grieving. He woke up minutes later and didn't ask if I was staring at him sleeping like he normally does. "Hey Louis" I said.

"Hey. Can you please stay over? For emotional support" he asked.

"Of course. Anything for you Lou" I replied.
