Two days pass in a flick and Sam still continues to look saddened not knowing what to do, whatever he tries it might affect his person so he has to be extremely careful making sure he doesn't bring any harm to her at the same time he can't marry Nivya too so has to be really quick in doing something because he is going to be engaged within an hour.
They decided to have the engagement at their mansion as it was big enough to occupy everyone and probably they could host more people too. The bride and groom were asked to get ready in their respective rooms, they were assigned rooms right next to each other.
He is walking around the room in rounds since the past fifteen minutes. He is dressed in his attire for the engagement, it was a black satin suit and he had set his hair too and he was looking like a geek god but there was only one thing missing....... His smile, he lacked happiness! The glow that people have when they were getting was missing.
In the nearby room, Nivya was all smiles, all set in her lehenga and ornaments, makeup all finished. Her face glowed brightly and she was a little nervous too, fisting her fingers on her shawl. She felt like something is about to happen but was not sure why she was feeling like that, she just ignored those thoughts. They were waiting for the auspicious time to arrive.

David went inside Sam's room to check on him. He walks in to see him walking around without even slight happiness. He frowns and walks to him,
David: Enna Sam innum konja nerathule your getting engaged, why are you keeping your face like this?
Sam: Uncle innum kooda time iruku konjam purinjikonga please....
David: Sam how much ever times you ask my answer will not change. So you better put on a smile and let this engagement happen smoothly as planned.

Suddenly the door turns open and Nivya stands there with eyes full of tears trailing down her cheeks. David rushes to her,
David: Nivya ma en da alugura? Konja nerathule your getting engaged Ippo ipdi aludha nalla irukuma.
Nivya: Niruthunga podhum neenga panna ellam podhum.... Neenga pesunadhu nan ketten idhuku mela poi solladhinga.
David: Nivya ma adhela onnum illa ma nanga summa dha pesitu irundhom nee nenaikira mari edhum illa da.
Nivya: Ippo kooda unmai eh solla matinga la innum evolo naal poi solluvinga han?!
David tries to say something but Nivya puts her hand in front asking him to stop.
Nivya: Edhuvum pesadhinga idhuku mela Sam indha engagement ku othukitalum nan othuka maten. Innoru ponna manasula vachitu enna kalayanam panikitalum avaru en kooda sandhoshama iruka mataru and andha ponnu kitta irundhu ivara ennala pirika mudiyadhu. Sam sorry for everything en appa enna solli ungala idhuku othuka vacharu theriyala but avarukaga nan sorry ketukuren. Go and live the life you desire. And anytime you need anything you can ask me I will be there forever as your friend.
She runs outside of the room after saying this. She goes inside her room and sits on the bed crying. David runs behind her. He goes in and his heart aches seeing his daughter like this. He feels guilty for doing to this to both of them and regrets it. He slowly moves towards her, he moves his hand to her shoulder but before that she shouts,
Nivya: Thodadhinga!!!
David: Nivya ma please konjam soldradhe kelu da...
Nivya: Nan unga kitta kettena enaku Ippo kalyanam panni vainga nu han? Summa irundha en manasula aasai ah valathu ippo sandhoshama ungaluku?
David: Nan unaku nalladhu pannanum nu dha ma try pannan pls purinjiko da 😭
Nivya: Oruthar eh avaruku pudicha ponnu kitta irundhu pirichu enaku kalyanam panni vakkiradhu dha neenga enaku pandra nalladha? Thayava senju en kitta pesadhinga velai ya ponga ..
David cries hard and walks outside the room leaving Nivya alone. He knows what he has done is a big mistake and how much ever he apologises it won't enough and Nivya would need some time to overcome all this.
