Cassandra's POV
"I'm sorry Cass."
Bumuntong hininga siya bago tumango habang kausap sa phone si Eca.
"It's ok. Good thing my important papers are safe. Di bali na yung mga damit ko, bibili nalang ako nang bago." Sabi niya.
"But your grandparents blocked your accounts remember? Do you want me to send you some money?"
Umiling siya kahit di nito iyon nakita. "No, I still have cash pa naman. Plus lalamig din ang ulo nina lola. In no time I will be back to that place."
"Ok. Just call me if you need me, update me of your situation from time to time ok?"
"Yes beshy. Bye."
When she hang up ay napahiga siya sa kama. Good god she only have two thousand in her wallet. How she gonna handle her situation?
She can't take Eca's offer dahil alam niyang may financial problem ang kaibigan.
She also tried to call her grandparents kanina but her lola said to never show her face to them even sa kumpanya. Like what kind of lie did Camilla tell them this time?
So basically she is jobless and homeless. Ugh such a luck.
From the ceiling ay tumingin siya sa bintana ng kwarto at agad napabangon. Fck its almost 10am.
When the door bell rang, ay dali dali siyang nagpunta sa pinto para pagbuksan ang tao sa labas. She's expecting it would be Chazer but a guy who's same age as Chazer is outside. Naka business suit din ito at napaka formal ng itsura.
"Good Morning ma'am , I'm Hanz , assistant of Mr. Chazer Miller. I'm here to pick you up and send you to his house." Sabi nito.
Tumango siya bago kinuha ang bag na dala. Thank god the penthouse has its own server, even if she wears the same clothes yesterday pero malinis na iyon dahil pinalabhan niya iyon kaninang umaga.
While on the way to the house of Chazer ay tahimik lang ang assistant nito kaya siya na mismo ang nagbukas ng usapan.
"Asan nga pala siya?"she asked. "Ahm si Chazer."
"Sa opisina po. We have executive meeting this early kaya ako nalang ang pinadala ni Sir para sunduin kayo."
Tumango siya bago sumandal nang maayos sa upuan. Palabas na sila nang manila.
"Ma'am do you need anything? Sir told me to buy anything you need habang nasa bahay ka niya."
Umiling siya bilang tugon. Nakakahiya namang sabihin dito na kailangan niya nang damit at underwear. Siya nalang ang bibili mamaya.
When they arrive to a modern mansion ay di na siya masiyadong nagulat, since she grow up in a mansion of her grandparents kaya di na ito iba sa kanya. But she would say Chazer's house impress her. It looks homey and she likes it alot.
Matapos siya ipakilala ni Hanz sa mga kasambahay bilang asawa ni Chazer ay kita niya ang gulat sa mga ito lalo na ang mayordoma nang bahay.
"I'm going back to the office now Mrs. Miller, please just tell the servants here if you need anything." Hanz said bago ito tumalikod .
"Ahm wait."
"Yes ma'am?"
"Do you have Chazer's number?"nahihiya niyang tanong.
"Yes ma'am."
"Can I have it?"
"Yes ma'am." Sabi nito bago nito pinakita sa kanya ang cellphone number ng asawa.
After she copied it ay nagpaalam na ito habang siya naman ay iginiya ng mayordoma sa isang kwarto.
When she got left alone ay di niya mapigil ang sarili na ilibot ang tingin sa silid.
So minimalist ang design. Basically just a bed , side tables and a sofa facing the tv ang laman nang kwarto.
She was about to explore when she remembered something so she sent a message to Chazer.
(Hey this is Cassandra, ahm can I borrow your clothes for the meantime? I promise to buy clothes tomorrow. But Can I use yours for now? Thanks.)
After she send it ay agad niyang tsineck ang email niya only to be informed na she was blocked in the families company website.
Damn she really need to talk to her grandparents. This is too much.
Ring
She automatically answer the call.
"Hello?"
"Get some rest, I'll asked someone to shop some clothes for you. And yes you can use my clothes for the time being."
"Chazer?"
"Hmm."
A smile automatically appear on her lips. "Thank you hubby."
"Tsk. Bye now, I'm in the middle of the meeting."
Napakagat siya sa labi nang nag hang up ito.
Did he just call her while in the middle of the meeting to tell her those things?
Damn.
