Chapter 33: New beginnings

With that ordeal behind them. Kurumi woke up to see her sister awake. She immediately went to hug her tightly.

"Onee chan... Your squeezing too tightly...." Kasumi said under her breath.

Kurumi realized this and then let go.

"I'm sorry... I'm just glad your okay" Kurumi Replied while going back to her original position at the side of medical bed.

"What happened?" Kasumi lied. Her inverse self in her dreams had already told her about the events.

"For starters we were able to save you from that DEM facility. You knocked out so we got you on board the Fraxinus so Reine could take a look at you" As Kurumi said that, the doors opened to the room revealing Reine who was holding a clip board.

"Reine, What is it?" Kurumi questioned while crossing her arms.

"I just came to report that we found no injuries with Kasumi. Just some burns in her hands from Kotori's fire, but that will heal in a matter of hours due to her being a spirit" Reine Explained.

"She can leave whenever she like." Reined added while placing the clipboard at the small table beside the medical bed Kasumi was on.

"Where's Miku onee chan? And Queen?" Kasumi questioned while she looked at Kurumi and Reine.

"For starters, Miku went back to the mansion to go take a break while Queen is off somewhere doing god knows" Answered Kurumi with her arms crossed.

"Ow... And the others?" Kasumi questioned further.

"The others are all back at their homes with Shido and Kotori" Reine added.

"I see, I want to go home now" Kasumi said while she slowly got up from her bed. She was still a little dizzy as she held her head.

Kurumi went by and helped Kasumi stand up, so that she wouldn't fall due to her dizziness.

"I see, I'll inform the captain later, hope you two have get home safe" Reine said as she escorted us to the teleportation room of the Fraxinus.

When they walked past the windows, Kasumi can only see a gray wall instead of the open blue sky.

"Where are we?" She questioned.

"The Fraxinus is getting a retrofit right now, so the entire ship is being reworked" Reine replied while she looked out the windows to see the gray wall.

"Oh, I see.." Kasumi replied.

After a few minutes of walking. The group reached the teleport room as Kurumi help lay Kasumi on one of the teleportation pods.

Kurumi then got up near the pod where Kasumi was in and said. "Kasumi, You can go ahead. I've got something to take care of" Kurumi said with a frown as she saw her little sister nod.

Reine then activated the machine and Kasumi was teleported back to the mansion where Miku was waiting for her.

Kurumi then slowly sank to her shadow and emerged outside a DEM facility.

"Are the preparation ready?" She asked her clone from behind.

"Yes, they are ready" replied the clone.

"Good, launch plan" she said as she looked at the facility.

Inside, a girl with gray hair is bound to a metal chair with hoses and wire that is stuck to her entire body. She was completely silent and unmoving as an alarm went off in the room.

Kurumi's clones then went in and killed all the scientists that were watching the girl. She then destroyed the controls that kept the girl bound to the chair.

We then cut back to see Kasumi who was in her room playing her games after a tiring day. Currently it was 8 PM and she was chugging along with her games.

"Must... Get.... S rank battlesuit...." Kasumi silently said as she stared at the screen opening gacha after gacha...

"Come on.... I already got Valkyrie ranger 5 times now.." She said to herself as she kept buying more and more crystals to spend on the gacha.

After another 30 minutes of just pulling she finally got the character she wanted.

"Finally!! The Herrscher of the Void Battlesuit!!" She exclaimed as she stood up to celebrate.

(Comment here if you know what game am I talking about guhehehe)

After a few minutes of trying out the next character she got. She then heared at her door.

"Come in!" She yelled out as the door opened to reveal the familiar face of Queen.

"Kasumi? I heared from Miku that you were home. I just came to check if you're fine" She said.

"I'm fine Queen nee chan, Just a little tired" Kasumi replied as she got up and walked towards the door.

"That's a relief." She said with a smile.

"Since she has both Lucifugus and Zafkiel... Does that mean that she has any memory of what happened?" Queen thought for a second.

"Kasumi... Do you remember what happened?" Queen questioned wile holding her chin.

"I don't actually remember what happened, but Kurumi nee chan said I was kidnapped and you guys saved my while I was knocked out" Kasumi answered.

"I see then... Well you've been through alot so I guess it's time for you to take a rest." Queen said.

"Good night little sister" she said with a soft smile as she slowly close the door.

"Good night Queen nee chan" replied Kasumi before Queen closed the door.

Kasumi then layed down on her bed. After a few minutes she slowly fell into the embrace of sleep.

In the office of Isaac Westcott, Ellen Mathers finished telling her report on what happened to her boss.

"I see, dont worry Ellen. I already had gotten what I wanted from <Akumu>" Westcott said with a sinister smile.

"May I as what is it you did?" Ellen questioned.

"It's a suprise for Shido Itsuka and <Nightmare>" he continued smiling.

"I understand then Mr Isaac" Ellen said as she continued to give her report about the facility <Nightmare> broke in.

"So, the ball is finally in play" He said.

"Yes Mr Isaac, your orders?" Ellen asked.

"Just be ready, I can't wait to see their faces for the 2 surprises I have for them" he said as the continued his sinister smile.

(Alright, thats it for now. Sorry if i havent updated any stories in a while. I'm getting ready for collage and this is the first time I've wrote anything in the last 6 days. ANYWAYS HOPE Y'ALL ENJOYED AND HAVE A NIDE DAY AHEAD!)
