living death is immortality,
just like life is immortal and
death is immortal.
not killing another but dying
to yourself as you live.
when the image is wiped clean
there's a clear white canvas
and you'll look for a while
not knowing you're looking
then you'll paint something
else and ask,
"is this an expression of me?"
before that a dark canvas
of nothing that cradled the
seed of possibility.
beliefs are obstacles,
stumbling blocks and dividers.
cards we weave together in
an attempt to find unity.
when language stops the
house of cards falls down,
and its not as scary as you
think, you might even
accidentally find what you were
looking for.
don't ever let them convince
you they know better,
don't let them take your mind
and clear out all the love
and goodness,
the curiosity and the mystery.
certainty and authority are
to be avoided,
the crowds too.
groups of organised people
preaching noble ideas often
leads to ignoble actions.
power is the evil everyone
grasps after.
Jesus was not a Christian
and Buddha was not a
Buddhist.
follow nothing but the name
of love.
beliefs come and go,
the other goes on untarnished
in spite of it,
not because of it.
