An Echo Of Love

people like to believe they are

driven by the best intentions,

nobody will admit they intended

to cause division and suffering

and human misery,

despite the results being so.

all our positive group actions,

our identities, our meanings,

our sense of self supremacy

clothed in respectability and

goodness.

everywhere the cause of the

sickness is being offered as the

antidote.

if only we could all stop playing

the game of good and evil, for and

against,

but evil is everywhere calling itself

good and the good do nothing,

which people think is quite

bad.

sometimes just doing nothing

would be a virtue,

hitler felt like he had to do

something and look at the results

of that.

not forwards or backwards into

abstraction but in the present as

innocent as the animals.

ego wars everywhere all drunk on

self righteousness thinking they are

correct,

dividing and killing each

other to prove which one of them is

the most moral.

i saw an echo of love standing

looking at shadows on the cave wall

knowing there must be a light behind

it somewhere.

i heard a taste. i touched a sound.

i saw a truth organised.

the shadows thought and fought

each other.

i felt an echo of love die.
