"I don't know, Sweet. I told you it fell out of the sky and crashed into the ocean!"

"Why would you take it in then! The professor is going to Freak!"

"Calm down guys! Stop yelling! Okay, so, Raf, start from the beginning.

Flying through the galaxy at speeds faster than light, the Violet ship traveled for what felt like hundreds of years, holding the remains of the Purple court.

Purple diamond kept all the living gems bubbled, hoping to find a place to hide away from her sisters' tyranny. Pink diamond was shattered, and White Diamond has gone on a rampage on Homeworld.

Nowhere is safe for anyone who is even thought to be near involved with the rebellion.

Eventually, the ship ran out of power and crashed in the deep ocean of a planet far from her own.

The Diamond made sure every gem was safe after the crash, even though her physical form was damaged from the impact.

Unbeknownst to her, another gem was already on the planet, it sensed her presence as a Diamond and rushed to the site of the crash.

So, when Purple Diamond stumbled out of her flooded ship, she was met with the vibrant blue eyes of an odd looking sapphire.

"Oh my jewels-" The flying blonde muttered as she stared at the figure of this large purple... Woman?

Purple held a shaking hand out, mumbling, "Help me-" before she poofed, leaving only the most dazzling purple diamond behind.

"-And was a few days ago. What else do you want me to say?" Raf sat on her bed, rubbing her temples.

Her friend, Urie, an angel with bright yellow wings, sighed, "I get what you're saying, but I also don't get what you're saying."

Sweet stared at the gem, smiling. "It's so pretty, so there's someone in there? I bet they have a great sense of fashion."

The gem pulsed a few times, then was silent for a while, which confused Sweet greatly, but she didn't have time to investigate.

A bell rang that meant it was time for them to get to class or face the professor's lecturing.

They all continued the conversation on the way to their classroom, the last two leave being Mikki, who stared at the gem with a look of pity.

It took three full weeks for something to happen with the gem, and unfortunately, the Angels weren't there to see it. Raf had taken the diamond out for some sunlight to aid in her recovery, she left the gem in a safe place with the sun beaming on it.

Unfortunately, her adversary saw her do this and was curious about the jewel. Why was she hiding it? And why leave it unattended so easily.

He wasn't going to steal it, that wasn't his style, but he did think about it for quite a bit.

The gem began glowing, shining brighter the longer he looked at it, the more dazzling it became. His curiosity got the best of him and he picked up the gem, peering into the crystal.

Just as he got close, the gem began to glow and lifted itself out of his hands. It spun around for a moment, then a body began to form around it.

Like magic, a girl fell into his arms, with the appearance of an angel without a halo. Her wings glittering under the sunlight appeared to be hundreds of small dark gems pieced together to create the perfect shimmering curtain.

"Ah..."

The moment the gem opened her eyes, her gaze locked with the golden eyes of a devil who held her so gently.

He stared at the girl for a long time, mostly in shock, because she literally appeared out of a shiny rock.

"Hey." He said after recovering from the mental shock.

The gem tilted her head. "Greetings... Um... Would you mind setting me down?"

The devil carefully set her down, his ears turning a bright pink as he muttered, "My bad."

The gem took a moment to look at herself, the body she created that nearly took a month to complete. She took after the last person she saw, the odd looking sapphire that seemingly picked her up.

"So... Who are you?" The devil asked, looking the girl up and down. She didn't seemed like an ethereal being, but he had never seen her before, he had never seen anything like her before.

Purple looked at her hands, smiling for the first time in a very long time. "I'm... no one special. Who are you?"

The devil raised an eyebrow, then shrugged. "Sulfus."

"Purple Diamond! Get away from him!"

A voice called out from somewhere and Purple lifted her head to see the half gem flying towards her.

"Ah, the sapphire." Purple held her hands out, and Raf grabbed them, pulling the gem behind her to protect her from the devil.

"What are you doing here, Sulfus?" Raf glared at the devil.

Sulfus rolled his eyes, holding his hands up. "I didn't do anything, she's the one that appeared out of nowhere!"

Raf looked between him and the diamond, then lifted into the air. "Let's go, Purple."

Purple Diamond nodded, following the other gem.

"It was nice to meet you... Sulfus." She waved to the devil, letting herself be taken away by the angel who had sheltered her.

That angel had a lot to explain.
