"I mean, we shouldn't bring her..."

"Raf, that would be dishonest. We already told her we'd take her with us this class session... She poofed just so we could take her. We literally have to take her." Urie encouraged her friend who was having second thoughts.

Days ago, Raf lost sight of the diamond while she was fighting with the devils. She was shocked when her enemy returned the purple gem to her, completely of his own volition, with no harm done to it, and no questions asked, well... There was one question.

As the gem was placed in her hands, the devil asked so quietly, "What's her name?"

"Elos...." She reluctantly told him, since he did do her the favor of returning the gem when something clearly had to happen for her to end up in that state.

After that he just left her alone, didn't even talk about their earthly one.

Raf was suspicious, but when Elos reformed the next day, she was perfectly fine. She herself said that the devil did nothing to harm her, and that he protected her gem at her request.

Since Elos wanted to go out into the terrestrial world, Raf promised to take her whenever she got the opportunity, however, she didn't think the opportunity would come so soon.

On this day, both angels and devils were called together to do a little exercise planned by the professors. They were to walk the earth as terrestrials for twelve hours, there was literally no better time for the angels to bring Elos out...but...

"I just don't think she's ready. I mean, Purple hardly has this whole 'angel' thing down, let alone being an earthly one." Raf had the diamond in her palm, holding it so the girl wouldn't just appear.

Mikki held her hand out. "We promised her, Raf. We'll be with her every step of the way, and besides, she's a thousand star old alien overlord, I'm pretty sure she knows how to handle herself."

Raf sighed, hesitantly giving the gem to her friend. "Okay, I get it... Let's wake her up."

Urie and Sweet stood as lookouts while Raf and Mikki spoke to the gem to get her to come out.

Poofing herself was difficult enough, but reforming everytime she poofed seemed to be taking more and more energy each time, like something was slowing her down, but she'd never let that stop her.

With hair that shimmered like a thousand crystals and eyes that contained every precious jewel in the known universe, the diamond formed her body again, with her wings tucked into her gem.

"I'm awake! Are here? Is this it?" She was clearly very excited, almost bouncing from the prospect of meeting the humans.

Mikki giggled, "Yeah, just stick close to us. Raf is pretty worried."

"Hey, don't tell her that!" Raf's face became slight flushed and she gently took the Gem's hand. "I'm sorry about last time, I won't leave you alone again if I can help it... If something had happened to you...."

"It's okay, Sapphire." Elos offered a graceful smile, tucking the Angel's blonde hair behind her ear. "I am perfectly fine. I'm very thankful... Grateful... I'm not sure what word to use in this situation. Ah, appreciative?"

"All of those fit. We're super excited to take you around!" Sweet squealed from her post, waving from her position. "Come on, let's go!"

Together, they went out into the world, showing Elos everything she wanted to see, and more. She was so fascinated by everything, and people were just as fascinated with her.

When she was separated from her friends due to them being distracted by the devils, she went off to socialize and learn from the human beings her friends had sworn to protect.

How lovely she thought they were. Everything about them was so flawed by her people's standards, and yet she couldn't help but think of how beautiful they all were.

They were so different, yet similar. They had silly dances, rituals, games and the like. No two humans were the same... And that was okay. It was okay for all of them to be different.

Especially those who embraced their differences and those who supported them.

"This is the mall! Ah, but you probably have those where you're from anyway. I don't know why I said it like that." A human laughed with the biggest smile. He and his friends kindly showed Elos around the city, and of course did it better than the angels ever had.

"Where I am from, we do not have such buildings. This is truly wondrous, thank you, Jace." Elos said to her new friend, walking into the building with the group.

Jace showed her some of the stores in the mall, helping her try anything she seemed interested in. He was truly an honest kind, wanting to help someone who was clearly in an unfamiliar environment.

"Alex, Roy, what are we forgetting to show her?" Jace asked his friends as they were walking through the mall.

"I think Elos may have had enough, look at her, she's as pale as a ghost!" Alex sighed, shaking his head.

Jace rolled his eyes. "That's her natural completion, Ally."

"Oh, right... So what do you wanna see next Elos?"

The gem tilted her head, just to catch a glimpse of yellow colored hair from the corner of her eye.

Immediately after she noticed the hair, her arm was grabbed by the person it belonged to.

"Elos! I was so worried about you, why did you leave the park?" Raf held the girl's arm, taking a few breaths.

Elos could tell she has been running, but wasn't sure why.

"Hey, do you know this girl, Elos?" Jace asked skeptically, kind of stepping between the girls to prevent a confrontation. "Is she the reason we found you alone?"

Raf let go of the gem's arm, lowering her head as she began to calm down. "I'm sorry, I was busy and I left her for a second."

"Anything could've happened to her, she's in a foreign country, and while she does speak the language very well, she is clearly unfamiliar with certain phrases, why would you leave her alone? What if she had gotten lost, or worse!"

Elos looked between the two, tugging on Jace's sleeve.

"I do not understand what is going on, but... I must go back with Sapphire. She-"

"Come on, Raf! Oh, Elos, you're here too. We're going to the race track! You'll love it!" One of the Angel's friends cut the gem off, and Raf turned away.

"Are you coming or not, Elos?" Raf asked hurriedly, and Elos just smiled and ran to her friend's side.

"Jace, Allen, Roy... It was very nice meeting you, I do hope to see you again..." The gem waved at her human friends and they just appeared dumbfounded while she was taken away.

They wanted to say something, but couldn't, it wasn't their place to say anything.

Elos follows Raf, the other angel, and two of the devils to a race track and the moment she saw her devilish acquaintance again, a smile graced her lips, and that smile was returned with a wink- which she tried to copy.

She failed.

But that's a story for another time.
